  1. you can always drop your items for sale off in the morning then you return after the sale to collect any items that have not been sold and your money
  2. I know there is one in blackheath in march. Check out the NCT website for further details
  3. sent you a pm
  4. Our little one has just turned 10 months old and when she is standing up holding on to your legs, she has a habit of biting you. i dont remember this happening with our eldest so wondered if anyone could give me any tips on how to stop it or why she might be doing it. When she does it we do give her a stern NO and put her on the floor
  5. been to walk in the centre and have bee told its impetigo and we have been given some cream to put on the area that is mostly affected
  6. She doesnt have any on the soles of her feet or her palms but on the other side of her hands and a few on her legs, neck, chest, arms and her head. The main clump of them is around her mouth and nose and they do look red and sore. She is a bit grumpy and not sleeping too well either. She also had a bit of a temperature before the spots came out as well. Think i might give NHS Direct a call and see what they say. There is a walk in centre near me but might just get some advice before taking her
  7. My daughter woke up yesterday morning with a big red rash around her mouth and her nose which is quite red and blotchy. She also has the same spots down below and a few on her arms and legs. Does anyone know what this could be?
  8. Im not from australia but having travelled to australia a lot over the last few years, i would recommend Sydney especially for work purposes. My sister moved to Sydney over 15 years ago and she loves it. We are hoping to move there in a few years time too. The place is so clean, people so friendly, i just love it
  9. Yes I was told I had gestational diabetes with our youngest when we had the last scan as the baby was showing big and they reckoned she would be around 9lb when born. I had to test my sugars after every meal and keep a record of whatever i ate so that I could try to work out what was making my sugars high (or low). I was even referred to a dietician to be told what i could and couldnt eat. Anyway the hospital decided to induce me a week before my due date and to my surprise our daughter was exactly 9lb! As soon as I had our daughter my sugar levels went back to normal
  10. oh and the age difference between our two is just over 3 years
  11. well with me, second time around was a lot harder. With my first i had her naturally, didnt tear as had to be cut!! Recovery was fine. Second child I had to be induced a week early due to her potential weight (9lbs). Was started off on the Thursday, panic stations after an internal when i started bleeding heavily. Rushed to labour ward, contractions started, had epidural, in labour for six hours with no regular contractions. One doctor was happy to let me carry on, another said c section which i was happy with as i was concerned I may struggle with a natural birth. All ok apart from having to have a full spinal block. Came out, saw baby getting weighed, then panic stations as i was told my uterus was not contracting as it should so i was rushed back into theatre, knocked out and sorted out. Had to have a blood transfusion as i lost 3 litres of blood, hooked up to all kinds of machines, unable to do much and had to stay in hospital for a week. So needless to say, my second was not easier for me
  12. chillychap get in touch with deptforddiva about these kittens
  13. the LUSH shops are just horrible, the smell is so overpowering outside the shop that i have never entered one. I think i would get a headache if i did
  14. also when you get a new cat you need to keep them in for at least six weeks so they get used to where they live etc. With regards to allergies there is a great product on the market that actually stops/reduces cat allergies too. I had 7 cats at one stage (was fostering 4) and to be honest even when i have 5 cats in the end, a lot of the time my cats didnt really get on i.e. cuddle up together, they just tolerated each other.
  15. veryseriousgirl were either of your cats neutered?
  16. There is a stomach bug going round, my 4 year old had it the other night, then i got it, then our 8 month old and now my partner has it.
  17. i agree its probably best to get an older cat i.e. a young adult rather than a small kitten
  18. maybe contact celia hammond and ask for advice. Personally I would wait until your lo is a bit older
  19. dont have time for that kind of thing these days, not with a 4 year old and an 8 month old. Definitely too tired apart from once in a blue moon!
  20. annabelle comes with a dummy/bottle and you can buy extra clothes/shoes etc
  21. we bought our daugther the baby annabelle which says da da and laughs and also sucks on her dummy which is really cute
  22. the website should ask you for your postcode and then give you the store nearest that has the item in stock
  23. Just wondered if this is normal or not as cant remember what our first daughter was like with solid food. Our youngest turned 7 months on tuesday and we have been giving her finger foods etc but it seems like she hasnt mastered the art of chewing food yet as she seems to struggle/choke. she has her two bottom teeth and her top two have just cut through her gums. Is this normal or should we get her checked out?
