i have four cats and up until recently we had a family of foxes coming into our garden. They were absolutely fine with my cats, in fact my cats used to play with them and chase them. I believe they only attack/kill cats if they are ill or young kittens.

You could try ringing one of the rescue charities, they may be able to trap the cat for you and get it neutered and then the cat can either be placed back (to find its home) or rehomed.

sounds like a scam like the lady who knocks asking for money for cabs to hospital etc. I would give him 50p and tell him to go to a phone box and ring a relative to help him (or maybe ask him if he has his mobile on him so he can ring them himself!)

We used the teething powders and they worked great with our daughter. They are called aston & parsons teething granules. Can get them from most places like boots, superdrug etc

if you know what school they are from i.e. by the uniform they were wearing then i would go to the school and report it.

i bought my daughter some cruising shoes from clarkes as she is at the in between stage. We have to go back in 4-6 weeks to get her feet measured again. I think as soon as your child is walking then you should get some proper fitted shoes from somewhere like clarkes as they make sure they fit correctly and help to support your childs feet when they are walking

You can also try a product called petal cleanse which is for animal allergies. You wipe it on the cats fur and it stops the pores etc from coming off the cats which causes the allergies.

cant believe some people can stoop so low. Actually when i helped out in a charity shop, i was shocked to realise that someone had nicked a bread bin from the charity shop after dropping off what can only be described as a bag of crap!! She obviously thought she had a right to something else.....must be pretty sad to do something like that

i have witnessed people stealing from outside charity shops. They are low life and if im correct, i think it was reported to the police as the number plate was noted.

Jimmy Sorry but how do you "try not to look like a victim!" My friends daughter was approached by a group of school kids from another school. She was herded into a corner and couldnt get out. She didnt have any valuables on her but they still started on her.

I just hope the weather is going to be nice for this...no fun if its chucking it down with rain!

Not sure if this has been put already (cant be botherd to read thru all the posts) but this is in todays newspaper A MAN WAS SHOT DEAD IN BROAD DAYLIGHT IN A QUIET STREET YESTERDAY. THE VICTIM WHO IS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN IN HIS 20S WAS HIT IN THE HEAD AND PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE. A SHOCKED RESIDENT WHO ASKED NOT TO BE NAMED SAID "ITS TERRIFYING BECAUSE I WALK THROUGH HERE EVERY DAY" "ANYONE COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED IF THEY WERE HERE AT THE WRONG TIME: THE KILLING HAPPENED AT 1.15PM IN BARRY ROAD, EAST DULWICH, WHICH IS FILLED WITH LARGE HOMES. LOCALS SAY GANGS FROM NEARBY AREAS ARE NOW ACTIVE IN THE SUBURB. Not sure why they felt it necessary to mention that there are large houses!!

If i had been present when this happened, i would have either mentioned it to the management or the actual woman. That is so wrong. I have a young baby and would not even think about doing this sort of thing. Totally unacceptable and damn right rude

has anyone ever thought about getting in their car and following her (at a safe distance) to see where she actually goes. Obviously make sure she doesnt see you but would be interesting to know if she does live round that area or not

1) Scream and slam the door in her face 2) Club her over the head with a baseball bat (I always keep one by the front door) 3) Make a citizens arrest 4) Say that you will lend the money, close the frontdoor and call the Police as i said earlier i would ask why they were asking a stranger and not calling a friend/relative to help them out

As long as these scammers aren't violent or frightening they really don't bother me. I don't mind throwing the occasional fiver their way at all. Dont you think that by throwing them a fiver their way, it is encouraging them to keep doing it. As i said before if they came up to me i would ask why they hadnt phoned a relative/friend to help them.
