    sounds like a scam. why would they ask people to send money over, surely they would contact relatives/friends etc to help them out

    Strawbs they have given me a prescription for Metformin, was told it can give you an upset stomach so wondering whether i should bother to take it if its going to make me feel ill.

    strawbs not sure what tablets they would put me on. Guess would find out tomorrow when i see the midwife. Yeah they told us our first daughter was big around 34 weeks (had to have a scan as had low lying placenta) and she was only 7lb 11oz.

    i have done a glucose test which came back high which is why i am testing my sugars on a daily basis and if they continue to be high, then i will be put on tablets for the rest of my pregnancy. That is one reason why they are not letting me go any further than 39 weeks because the baby is showing up as big

    strawbs i am actually being monitored for diabetes as my sugar levels can become very high so that maybe why i have protein in my urine. I am off to see the midwife on tuesday so will probably have to do another sample then

    Im 35 weeks pregnant and just got a letter from the hospital saying there was a problem with my last urine sample and that i need to do another one. When i went to the midwife last time she said i did have protein in my urine but it could be to do with my sugar levels (they are monitoring my sugar levels during pregnancy) Just wondered if anyone else went through this and if its anything serious to worry about

    you can always try a product called petal cleanse which you wipe on the pets fur and it stops the animal releasing the pores which causes allergies. Is a very good product and worth a try if you think it may be a pet allergy

    we used to get baby foxes coming into our cat flap to eat the cat food. One night they decided my leather coat looked tasty and decided to rip/tear it to shreds. Was not impressed!

    yeah we used to see lots of odd shoes/socks etc in next doors garden where the foxes had nicked them and carried them away

    i used palmers cocoa butter for my first child and didnt get any stretchmarks. I am currently 33 weeks pregnant and using it this time around and still none

    ha ha thanks missmack I actually have been eating a banana before bedtime for the last couple of nights and so far, the twitching has stopped. Im hoping it will last

    just wondered if anyone has any advice/tips on how to cope with this? I have been using calomie lotion but its not stopping the itching or pain im experiencing with these spots and i seem to be getting more.

    Wondered if anyone had any advice on how to deal with this. Usually just my legs that decide to start twitching when im ready to sleep but now tonight, my arms wont stop and i am so tired cos i cant sleep

    Just been diagnosed as having chicken pox and im 32 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this whilst pregnant and any advice etc. I also have a 3 year old daughter so need to keep an eye on her to see if she gets it.

    yes i know if it is temperamentally sound and healthy it might get a home but there are probably plenty like that who are waiting for a home and sadly battersea dont keep them forever

    If its a staff then could more than likely have been dumped. Shame its going to Battersea Dogs Home as they are inundated with Staff's and this poor dog might not get a chance of a new home

    i also quite liked Betty as that seems to be getting more common and it was my mums first name. So stumped as in what to call baby, maybe will just have to wait until she is here to see what suits her

    We are expecting our second daughter on 9 march and I am really struggling to think of a name for her. Our 3 year old is called Amber Elizabeth (middle name my mums name) and my partner wants to use his mums middle name for this one so the middle name will be susannah. I have the following so far:- Madison Maisie Poppy Scarlett Zara

    i am due to see the MW in a week or so and she said that depending on my home test results will determine whether she refers me to a dietician. Thanks everyone for your posts, will let you know how i get on
