  1. Yes can be done, there are various year intakes, year 5 etc for the Dulwich Private Schools. there will be an entrance exam and an "interview" type face to face meeting - I assume that this info is available on the school website The issue will be that he will mostly be up against pupils from other private schools trying to transfer to Dulwich schools, so his schooling to that date needs to be good enough to match those other children, or have sufficient tutoring before the entrance exam. You could ask the private schools what proportion of the children coming in at a later stage are from state schools to give you an idea. I'd have thought it might be quite low. My experience is Alleyns.

Are you tempted to retract how it reflects on TM, or say that its Labour that care less about sectors of community?
  4. Copyright refers to a piece of work, like by an author, so I suspect you are looking at the wrong safeguard. Dulwich Hamlet name is a trademark.

Station barbers is brilliant for both adults and children and has just opended new premises right by the station entrance.
  6. Great fun. Horses are treated better than any other animal i can think of.
  7. Its ?12 at the barbers by the side entrance to PR station. Adult rate. Child rate may be cheaper still. Owner used to work at Jazz on LL Its good enough for me anyway..... :)
  8. Is it true this has been cancelled?
  9. We have safe standing at Celtic. Give it a try PGC.
  10. Hmm - I had the 25th in my diary - without noticing it was a Wednesday. I cant make the 26th I'm afraid, it's been "taken". Have fun.
  11. James he above "solution" seems like a fudge to me. Along the lines of "we built a long route down to the other end of the platform and we want people to use it, rather than the existing stairs. It's a bad design, but we still believe in it, even if passengers don't. We need to train them to use the long route to get to their train"
  12. Hither Green is within SE13 This road, on the corner of Waterloo Plumbing is SE12 and therefore I think its Catford. https://news.sky.com/story/pensioner-held-after-man-stabbed-during-burglary-11316275
  13. I don't have a rat, thankfully we have two gerbils though.

  16. Yet most of Lordship Lane, which sees heavy use and has nice bars and restaurants to sit outside, still waits for new paving.
  17. Denmark Hill Named in honour of George of Denmark, husband of Queen Anne, who owned property here. Nearby Dog Kennel Hill once contained his kennels. Champion Hill, part of the same mound, comes from the wonderfully named local landowner Sir Claude Champion de Crespigny. https://londonist.com/2016/04/how-london-s-hills-got-their-names
  18. Where are or were the dog kennel's? that might help us.

  20. I do find it disappointing when people ask for advice of this nature, but don't take the time to feed back that it has been in any way resolved. Leaves me and probably others a bit worried about the child.

Ask them first if they are aware of the noise they are creating and ask if everything is ok as a first step. Then NSPCC if not satisfied with response.

I think you are missing the point. I don't like West End cinemas any more than Peckham Plex. Most of them are completely soulless places. Picturehouse cinemas have created a relatively niche experience, not replicated by the big players in the west end. > > Anyway, we prefer Peckham. > I prefer Peckham too - I just don't like the cinema.

  24. I find it hard to go back there now I have been to the Picturehouse a few times. PP is a very traditional cinema, but the EDPH is a much better all round experience - apart from the price.
