Are houses selling around here at all?
Mick Mac replied to James's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
James Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- given the secrecy around sold > prices. Hence my original post. There isnt ultinatley any secrecy. Within a month of the actual transaction, sold prices are freely available. Althouh the process from "under offer" to completion can of course take some time, if that is what you mean. -

It works in our loft. We have remote control velux blinds on our veluxs - it works fine, so if upgrading i'd recommend this option. The sliding doors have no blinds but recently we have had these open anyway - and if you also have a front of house window open you will create a flow through of air

Dulwich estate properties ?un-mortgageable??!
Mick Mac replied to localyocal's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
localyocal Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- The rules says > that the estate can take first charge over the > property for any amounts owed to the estate and so > the banks deem them un-mortgageable. > Most mortgage companies wont be willing to take a second charge. Perhaps they have only recently been made aware of the estate charge (or are only now taking it seriously/literaly) and are playing hardball until they change it. -

JohnL Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Is this just your classic school scrap then with > everybody clustering round to watch (and once > someone goes down it's over) or is it worse. Yes - initially looked a bit heavy handed to get the police involved, to me. But then with knife crime so prevalent, best to do so. Assuming it was just a fight, suggestions of a criminal record are laughable. -

It's the longest day. Is that mid-summer? Is the shortest day, then mid winter?

England were good last night, unlucky not to be comfortably ahead and kept probing, not short of ideas, plenty of probing passes, neat interplay near the edge of the box and plenty of width too. was pleased with what I saw.

Dream on Warren. He wont get the England job or the NZ job eirher, would be my guess, neither country likes him. Anyway, Joe Schmidt must surely be ahead of him in terms of the NZ job in the forseeable future.

Just shows you what suckers we are really. They were selling rib eye at ?28.50 per kg the last time I went in. And of course I bought it as it was the only rib eye they had that particular Saturday.

But camra is surely focussed on real ale offerings as a major factor in their decision....?

If you ask me, they are lucky to have her. She outranks him significantly in personal achievement, and genuine popularity. But I cant see it working long term. She has a career and has achieved a lot already - I don't know how she's going to come to terms with royal life in the longer term.
