Probably a strange question but any idea of how long this will take to fix going by past experience/what you've been told? Quite possibly the worst day of the year to have no water.

In all seriousness, there is adequate public transport and walking and cycling are also options for people wanting to go to Peckham Rye. If we carry on in our current car dependent ways, an area the size of Richmond Park will need to be given over to new car parking spaces in the coming decades. That's from Boris Johnson's analysis. And we will all get ill as the air gets increasingly polluted. It might irk some people, but the direction of travel is towards road pricing in London. If parking is restricted then the cafe will no longer be viable?? That's ridiculous!!! Do you seriously think that the cafe will go bankrupt if visiting the park by car is made a bit harder? Male attendants going into the womens' changing rooms even after knocking is TOTALLY NOT ON! I am pleased Councillor Barber is taking action. Why do they think it is ok? You can't just put all your clothes on rapidly when they knock on the door can you??

Maybe if you lived 20 metres from the accident, cycled on this part of the south circular every day and had to deal with moronic speeding drivers using the bus lane every day illegally, recklessly and incredible dangerously knowing that it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. Then no. It is not strange. Thanks though Growlybear.

Potentially, although there was debris some 20-30 metres behind it on the bus lane. This indicates to me that there was a collision with another car previous to this incident, which then caused the white car in the picture to lose control and crash. Only a car travelling at speed could crash some 20-30 metres down the road from an initial collision. Miss Marple signing off.

Saw this crashed at the junction of overhill road and lordship lane this evening at about 6pm. Anyone else see this? Two other vehicles involved (out of shot). I see idiot drivers all the time using the bus lane in this area of the south circular, usually driving at breakneck speeds. Any know if this is anything to do with that?
