This very handsome beast has been visiting Hillcourt Road regularly and inviting him/herself in for meals. Usually it's my cats' food, but on occasion it's our food - in the summer it was a cooked chicken casserole for four, a packet of uncooked vegetarian sausages and the odd loaf of bread. Today he helped himself to an entire unopened pack of organic smoked bacon and half a loaf of sourdough. (I had the door open for ventilation as I was painting the kitchen). Obviously, I shouldn't leave food out anymore and must keep the back door closed. But am also concerned that a whole packet of bacon might not be good for kitty. I doubt there's much we can do but thought I should let the owners know about his 'extra snacks'.

Thanks for your concern. He's our cat and is well looked after. He and his brother both have only one eye due to possible cat flu before we adopted them. They're 15 now, so looking a bit elderly. They're very friendly so do stroke them if they're out and about.

I'm afraid to report this cat was found dead last night, probably hit by a car. Is anyone missing their tortoiseshell cat? I'll take it to vet for ID later today.

Anyone know him? I have a letter for him which was delivered to my address. Thought I'd ask here before marking return to sender and re-posting.

Mail from South Africa was first delivered to my address in Hillcourt Road in December, then twice more even though I wrote ?not known at this address?and reposted! Looks like the post office don?t know what else to do.

We have a parcel which my husband signed for by mistake as it was delivered to our address but addressed to Daniel Reilly. I have tried phoning the company number on the parcel but cannot get through to a human to report the mistaken delivery. I would love to deliver it to Daniel Reilly if only I knew where he lived!
