This very handsome beast has been visiting Hillcourt Road regularly and inviting him/herself in for meals. Usually it's my cats' food, but on occasion it's our food - in the summer it was a cooked chicken casserole for four, a packet of uncooked vegetarian sausages and the odd loaf of bread. Today he helped himself to an entire unopened pack of organic smoked bacon and half a loaf of sourdough. (I had the door open for ventilation as I was painting the kitchen). Obviously, I shouldn't leave food out anymore and must keep the back door closed. But am also concerned that a whole packet of bacon might not be good for kitty. I doubt there's much we can do but thought I should let the owners know about his 'extra snacks'.

Hillcourt Road clapped with gusto

We have a parcel which my husband signed for by mistake as it was delivered to our address but addressed to Daniel Reilly. I have tried phoning the company number on the parcel but cannot get through to a human to report the mistaken delivery. I would love to deliver it to Daniel Reilly if only I knew where he lived!

I also got Dave's number from this forum. Although busy, he was able to fit in a visit to diagnose and fix the problem with a gas pipe. He was polite, efficient and quick! I have already recommended him to neighbours. Dave @ McHow 07814 833352

Fake ' Sponsored walk for Red Cross' - back in the area
sarahmak replied to J27's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
She came to my house in Hillcourt Road last night around 7pm. Was in the middle of dinner so I simply said it was not a good time and she turned away without a word and looking very grumpy! Left a pretty bad impression of the Red Cross so I was suspicious. -
My 15 year old son was mugged for his phone last night on his way home from school in Acacia Grove near Alleyn Park. Thankfully he?s not hurt. The police told us there were several similar incidents in that area last night. Please be careful if in that area and make sure you are not on your own especially when it?s getting dark.

Have just been informed by the police that there have been 2 white men pretending to be from the Water Board and in one case gaining access to a property on Hillcourt Road and stealing money. Please be vigilant and don't allow anyone access to your house without seeing ID first. If suspicious, call 999.

He knocked on my door (Hillcourt Road)too. Started to tell me about being a football coach and although I didn't get to say a word, he got irritated and left saying he could see I wasn't at all interested (true) and that he was sorry for wasting my time! Left me feeling quite unnerved .
-
I'm glad the message reached you. Hurrah for the EDF! My son is ok thanks.
-
I'd like to say thank you to the kind woman who looked after my 12 year old son and drove him home after he was mugged for his phone. This happened on Monday morning at 10.30 in the Hambledon Estate area near Dulwich Hamlet Football Ground.I would drop in to say thank you but he doesn't remember which house it was! If you know a mother with young baby who helped a very frightened( but not physically harmed thankfully) young boy -please pass this message on for me. Police were informed and sent an officer to take details within a couple of hours. Please be extra careful when walking on your own. I'll be encouraging him to always travel with a friend from now on.

Can anyone tell me if the P13 is running today please?
