My daughter also attends Greendale Mother Goose. She is very happy there and I second how great the outdoor facilities are. They're outside everyday which is great. The nursery has a lovely feel to it a day bo us is the food, it's cooked on site and the menu is interesting. They celebrate festivals and often invite parents in as The Dellows say, e.g. they invited parents in for Chinese food to celebrate Chinese New Year on Friday. I looked at a LOT of nurseries before my little girl started there and it's the best around.
I live by the Old Kent Road but work in Dulwich. I've put my daughter in a nursery in East Dulwich as the options around where I live are so poor. Having said that, I know people who are very happy with 1st Place in Burgess Park. There's often quite a waiting list though so it'd be good to get your sons name down now (I put my daughters name down 15 months before I needed a space and still had no luck there.)
Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately there's no space at 1st Place but I agree, the outdoor space is great. I'll have a look at the other two, thanks very much for the suggestions, I hadn't come across those two.
Hi. I live in Walworth but will be working in East Dulwich from September. I'm open to a childminder or nursery for my 2 year old daughter in Walworth, East Dulwich or en route in Camberwell. Does anyone have any recommendations? As I said i be starting work in September so it can't be anywhere with a long waiting list. I quite liked the look of Magic Roundabout Kennington (really Walworth), does anyone have any recent experience of it? Thanks.
