  6. Ah Austria.... I love that place, its all round ski & family appeal can't be beat. A mate of mine was teaching skiing there, so one day we went a little off the beaten track to sample a local goat hesrders homebrewed schnapps, it was great, goats down stairs & a randy octagenarian herder upstairs "Schnapps" he'd shout as we downed them in one, then he groped my wifes tits & fanny as she was trying to regain her voice after the rocket fuel home brew "Oh take no notice, he does that to all the girls" said Jimmy Very mad but very funny Ah, they were the days You'll love it I'm sure ( the skiing that is ) Do go to Finches, it's bloomin brilliant & the advice is very good w**F

It's that time again Half-term Yesterday we ( 2 adults + 3 boys ) parked up at the O2 carpark number 4 ( ? 7.50 ) Then easily onto the Thames Clipper with an all day ticket, on & off at any stop as many times as you like for ? 25.oo The boat is excellent fun, clean/warm & I blinkin loved it roaring up the thames at 30 knots-ish F A S T We visited the Tate modern & * ahem * came home with a miniature version of this http://www.tate.org.uk/modern/exhibitions/unileverseries2010/default.shtm exhibition Dinner in the Square at the O2 Then home..... ( phew ) Not too large a hole in the pocket W**F

Nero I agree with moos post ( good link for Obertauern btw ) that fitness is key I've skied in loads of places but as a beginner & on my own I'd go to Austria without a doubt I'd also hire some of the kit from http://finches-ski.com/ based in Forest Hill, it's bloomin brilliant in there Good luck, it's a great sport W**F
