  1. We did it! Thanks to everyone who put their names on petitions, filled in surveys and came along to the meetings, from Monday 21st May we will see 4 trains an hour on the Cinderella Line! This is huge achievement and we wouldn't have got anywhere without the amazing local support so thank you all! This does mean that the times of all of the existing service are due to change, so please read the article on our website for more information, if you use Nunhead, Crofton Park, Catford, Bellingham, Beckenham Hill or Ravensbourne stations. The changes will be released in a phased approach, but everything is explained in the article: http://www.acinderellaline.com/single-post/2018/05/16/4-trains-an-hour-coming-right-up

The Franchise gets renewed in December 2018, and so we are in the process of campaigning to the new potential franchise holders to provide the infill services as soon as they take over. With regards to the Victoria services, we have started a petition to both protect and enhance the current Victoria trains. Please sign and share our petition for this here: https://www.change.org/p/david-statham-more-victoria-trains-for-crofton-park-the-catford-loop We hope this helps!

Hi Nigello, This will not take away services from these stations, in fact this is for services that run through Denmark Hill and Peckham Rye - You can find more about the full consultation on the Thameslink website: https://www.transformingrail.com/ We hope this helps!
  4. Hello SE23! As you know, we have been pushing for more train services for Peckham Rye, Nunhead, Crofton Park, Catford and beyond. We are now in the last phase of the Thameslink consultation, and need 3,000 people to say they support the calls for more trains at weekends too as well as weekdays, all before the deadline of 20th December In addition to this, we are also calling on Southeastern trains to provide more services to London Victoria to give everyone real choice and reliability for their journeys, as well as protect the existing services we have when their franchise changes next year. To add your voice, just follow this link: http://shoutout.wix.com/so/cM0Hh83a Thank you! A Cinderella Line
  5. Hi All, As some of you are aware, Thameslink are in the second phase of their consultation for more trains for services that run through Denmark Hill, Peckham Rye to Blackfriars and beyond. Thameslink have agreed to provide a minimum of 4 trains an hour Monday - Friday all day (weekend services are being looked at separately) but we need to show there is enough public support for these services. All you need to do to respond is to to to our website and complete the short survey to say you support more trains for our route: http://www.acinderellaline.com/phasetwo If you have any questions please let us know, but be quick, the consultation closes on Wednesday 27th July! Thank you! A Cinderella Line
  6. Dont forget, theres just under two weeks to add your voice to the call for more trains an hour for the route from Kent - Blackfriars through Nunhead, Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill. Add your voice to the response to call for more trains an hour: http://www.acinderellaline.com/voice You must respond before 8th December!
  7. Some of you may be aware, that Thameslink Railway are in the middle of the biggest timetable consultation in a generation and want our thoughts on their proposals. This is our chance to get four trains an hour as a minimum standard on the Catford Loop route that runs from Sevenoaks through Nunhead, Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill to Blackfriars. Thameslink have put together their proposals for the service, but we dont think its enough to meet current and future demand. All you need to do to respond is go to our website and add your name and email to sign up for a better service: http://www.acinderellaline.com/voice It takes less than two minutes, and your action will help to ensure we secure vital services to increase the capacity on this already over crowded route. Thanks in advance! A Cinderella Line campaign
  8. Its very timely that Renata has kindly organised the public meeting for everyone, as just yesterday Thameslink and Network Rail performance was debated in Westminster Hall! We have written a review of the debate and you can read more here: http://www.acinderellaline.com/#!Thameslink-services-in-the-South-East-debated-in-Parliament/j5da8/56e9b0460cf221f9af2f58d7 We look forward to attending your meeting this evening! 9. Hi There, Our campaign has been working with Thameslink and Network Rail to improve the rail service on the Catford Loop. Last week, we held a meeting with Thameslink and Network Rail to raise some of the issues that we have, and there is definitely some cross over between the issues that we have and those that impact on Peckham Rye, Nunhead and Denmark Hill, and we set up the public meeting at Crofton Park that Renata kindly attended and spoke at. Check out our article for more information about what we talked about in our meeting with them: http://www.acinderellaline.com/#!When-A-Cinderella-Line-met-Thameslink-Network-Rail-Directors/j5da8/56e6b19a0cf286cff61b69c2 If you have any questions please get in touch! 10. Hi There, Thameslink have already proposed to the DfT to run 4 trains an hour, however this wouldn't come into operation until May 2018 when there is a more major timetable change. There is a DfT proposal document being worked on, and the first draft of this will be made public in June this year so we should see then what is included. Thanks, A Cinderella Line HopOne Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Do Thameslink really have to have to apply to the > DoT in order to run more trains?
