They're doing some renovations so the aquarium is free this week. The renovations don't affect the aquarium though.

To avoid the chaos - Born to Swim do classes at Deptford pool (wavelengths). The teacher is excellent.

I would second the MAM teats - my daughter wasn't happy with Avent teats but seems to accept MAM (at 3 months) - and they fit Avent bottles which is handy if you have already bought them.

It's not in the right area but I just went to Alexander House Hotel and Utopia Spa in West Sussex (nr Gatwick), it was lovely and the spa facitilites are great. not sure the offers are available on saturday nights but we paid ?99 for dinner, bed and breakfast plus use of the spa. www.alexanderhotels.co.uk

Also, it wont change the midwife I see at the GP prior to birth and the team of midwives who visit you at home will be connected to Kings anyway.

ClareC: I am in the same position and have decided to try and get transferred to St Thomas's. My midwife was supportive and has faxed a booking form today to the hospital, she didn't suggest they wouldn't take the referral but i'll have to see. she did say to do it sooner rather than later with Christmas coming up (and I supposse you don't have too much longer to change anyway - I'm 30 weeks). I'll let you know the result. Good luck for your choice.
