I'd like to echo the recommendations for Niko. I needed an Emergency Plumber one evening last week to sort out a dripping overflow pipe and found Niko on this thread. He came out at short notice, traced the drip and fixed it for a very reasonable cost. Professional, friendly and kind. Very happy to recommend.

Just to add that Brad and Michael also did a very good job of the exterior of my brother's flat in the Brockley Conservation Area.

Brad has done brilliant work on my flat: kitchen, living room, and, most recently, the bathroom, which needed carpentry as well as decorating — building a cupboard and shelving the airing cupboard (a tidiness game-changer!). Very good project management skills and clear explanations. Highly recommended.

I also wish to recommend Mary. She has very good knowledge of plants and soil types, and does excellent work sprucing up the garden. She is also pleasant and straightforward to deal with.

I also put a notice up for a few hours, but the statistical likelihood is the Forum. I'll try filling it with cress, so Colonel Mustard can also be considered if it goes AWOL again.

Crystal Palace Road. I've not had one stolen before, though someone did dig up some snowdrops one year.

A pot full of auriculas was stolen from my steps this morning. The plants were given to me my father who also fought in the war, so it's particularly upsetting. I'm posting in the hope of producing their return: I'd just like the pot put back where it was.

I also got Keith Burgess's details from the Forum. He did some pointing for me last week to make everything watertight for the winter. I'd thoroughly recommend him: good at explaining things, good work and a reasonable price.
