hi pheobe, one of the forum posters runs a running course - there is one starting in january. i am planning on doing the 10k course but if you havent done any running yet you could start with the beginners (5k) one. you can definitely get uo to 10k in 6 months.

i think its a revisited, so new, or at least i hadnt seen the revisited one before.

as an allergy sufferer i would advise to give it a try without the cats. also, allergy sufferers can go on to develop allergic rhinitis which will continue even after the original trigger is gone. it is not nice....

hello. if you are worried about food getting smelly and you have a front garden then you could consider a compost bin. once you have them up and running there isn't a problem with bugs - you get fruit flies outside the bin when you open it, and obviously worms etc inside, but i dont really notice it now. its definitely less smelly than leaving stuff in a green bin. and the lid keeps smells in. we have really noticed our rubbish has cut down - we put about 1 supermarket shopping bag out a week (family of two.) and we need to empty the compost maybe once a year. we have a small bin that sits on the window sill and you just fill it up and empty it when needed. honestly very easy.

Hello no edmummy you are quite right. a flat white is a bit like a latte only smaller and stronger. the milk is normally creamier too (smaller bubbles i think). you can get a nice one at Sacred cafe just off carnaby street, or Providores in Marylebone high st. Dorothy, i used to go to a cafe that called the coffee you describe a macchiato. when i fancy it here i ask for a double espresso with a dollop of creamy milk, then i watch them make it so i can shout STOP!!! but overall i try not to be too precious about coffee as cafes are so different. lots about a successful coffee is really getting what you were expecting. i think. ps. kiwis are everywhere, i love it cos i like kiwis, and oh yeah, i am one.

could be seasonal hayfever, its been very bad this year. i have year round hayfever and use a nose spray to control it. this year i have had the persistent cough and snottiness that you describe as well... i blame the tree pollen?? there are nose-sprays that you can take when pregnant which might help. i also found lots of warm drinks and sleeping with more pillows was very effective. good luck.

ooh - that reminds me - money saving expert site has a print-out-yourself thing to put on your door that is 'no cold callers' - the gas and electric companies have signed up to it. wont be any help with dishcloth sellers. but hopefully a bit relevant.

ours floods randomly, we have just put plastic shelves down there (to keep stuff off the floor) and put up with it! the floor is uneven so its puddles mostly.

we get them fairly regularly, they have a knack of coming when i am expecting my sister and her husband. they are always rude and unpleasant. i dread the abuse, its horrible. sweet-chicken - thats awful about your planters!

hi, i have posted separately also, but unhappily i have had a parcel go missing. sent recorded delivery, and just an unintelligable signature on the online tracking website. im gutted as the item is one of a kind, its a home-made cushion. i wont be able to go and complain until next saturady (I have to leave for work before the sorting office opens) but if anyone has mistakenly signed for it i would be very grateful to get it back. i ordered a repeat there and they were very efficient and polite, also had the full stock to fill the prescription which is unusual for the one I'm on. so perhaps not all bad news?

I dont mind the market expanding, i think what you gain from a market is greater than what you lose in parking etc. The pedestrian crossing by budgens / iceland creates natural gaps in traffic for cars to get out too. As a driver i dont find it any worse than on other days - its easy enough to avoid it altogether and go up or down a block. am i missing what the problem is?

one thing i would say is that they are a new business, and so presumably still finding their feet. by all accounts its incredibly hard work setting up your own business and if we want to be the sort of area that encourages independent shops then maybe its best not to slag someone off for trying, whether they are getting it right or not. (im sure feedback directly to the stallholder is better than trying to put off other people going there.) if it realy is overpriced then they wont sell enough and they will drop their prices to suit. but give them a chance. ps. i am always at le chandelier and i dont see what all the fuss over their prices is. i think its roughly ?4 for a strong monmouth coffee and a pastry baked on the premises, well worth it. plus i get to hang out with my sister in a lovely cafe = priceless.
