Plumber recommendation - A.F.E Plumbing Services
spacehopper replied to frenchie33's topic in Reviews
Another solid recommendation for Aria. Excellent communication, fair rates and a great job. Will be my go-to plumber going forward now that we’ve found him. -
Another recommendation for Paul. I had a couple of small lighting issues, an outside light that needed wiring up properly as it was tripping fuses and a ceiling light that that needed diagnostics. Paul responded to my message within the hour and came round the same morning and fixed everything. Lovely guy and would absolutely use again. Paul Edgley 07802 627967

My son will be entering Yr 11 at Kingsdale in September and is looking for a bright , keen , energetic Tutor to assist his learning across the curriculum esp English, History & Science but also to help him develop a routine for learning at home which so far has been a bit of a struggle! We would imagine 2 x 1 hour sessions per week beginning in September but can discuss. We live in SE22 Please PM me for further info Thank you!

I needed some help sorting out a flow issue with our unvented boiler, I found plenty of recommendations on this forum for Andy Burke 07983 688451. Andy responded immediately with really helpful advice and then came round to sort the issue for us. He's a proper old school plumber with heaps of experience and is a genuinely lovely guy who I would not hesistate to recommend. I'll definitely call on him for any future plumbing issues.

If you don't know the highway code, you shouldn't be on the road!!!!!
spacehopper replied to lavender27's topic in The Lounge
Everyone feels like this sometimes...You could easily be addressing any road users, on any form of transport, most of the time. -
It's called colorama. Amongst others, Calumet in Drummond Street sell the whole range but you could easily google to check if there's anyone nearer.

Converting old family cine films to digital format
spacehopper replied to Grotty's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I did exactly this with my Dad's old cine films and 35mm slides. I used Stanley Productions off Wardour Street. Very easy. www.stanleysonline.co.uk. Good luck, it's a great thing to do. -
there's a burst mains outside a house at the top end of friern which is probably conributing to loss of pressure firther down.

I just called parking enforcement to complain about it. The said they'd send someone to look at it today but also advised me to email [email protected] to flag it up & attach photos, which I have done. Can I suggest anyone else who's pissed off about this stupid coach does exactly the same (call & email) and hopefully it'll get moved.
