Both Lepto4 and Lepto2. Enlightened vets are not giving Lepto. Bordatella (kennel cough) should also be avoided.
  2. Catherine wrote a book called The Tip of the Needle and founded the organisation Canine Health Concern. ------------------------------------------------------- > "I recommend reading books by Catherine O?Driscoll > regarding vaccinations." > > Is this the C O'Driscoll: > > "She learnt Emotional Freedom Technique in 1998 > and is qualified as a practitioner and teacher > under the Association for the Advancement of > Meridian Energy Techniques (AAMET). > > Catherine is also an ACT (Animal Communication > Training) examiner, and a qualified Reiki." > > Why would anyone recommend her advice for animal > health over that of a qualified vet?
  3. Was up at Brockley Rise SE23 the other day, and there are a couple of barber shops and a hairdresser. One of the barber shops advertised ?12 for a wash and cut for a man and ?14 for a woman?s. Good prices in these austere times.
  4. Nasty spillage causing road to be closed.
  5. I recommend reading books by Catherine O?Driscoll regarding vaccinations. There is also a FB group called Dogs & Vaccinations, What Vets Dont Tell You which you would find interesting. Also, The Raw & Holistic Cat & Dog Support Group is very friendly and well moderated. Would never give a dog any lepto or kennel cough shots. See Novibac Lepto 4 Our Experiences FB group.
  6. There is a newish vet in Camberwell, The London Animal Hospital. They provide a 24 hr service. They seem to be moderately holistic and sell raw prepared food. Remember that you are your dog?s advocate and you can turn down any treatment you don?t want. For example, annual boosters, inc. leptospirosis, and monthly flea and worm treatments are all things that aren?t necessary. Use wormcount.com to see if your dog actually has worms before deciding what to do. Hyde Park Vets at Marble Arch has a good reputation.
  7. area to the west of Chania is very easy to get buses either back into Chania or further west. The villaged Gerani and Maleme, for example have hotels and apartments set on the beach and are a short walk from the main road. I have stayed in this area several times without hiring a car. There will be many places selling excursions too, including trips to Santorini. If you go to the east of the island, Sisi is an attractive village. Easier to not have a car on the north side of the island. I didn?t find it difficult driving there though, outside of the cities. Perhaps you could hire a car just for a couple of days to go into the hinterland.
  8. This new shop is run by the Italian family who own the cafe next door. Barber or hairdresser? That sounds a reasonable price for that kind of service. I?ve never had a hairdresser wash my hair again to get bits out @fter cutting.
  11. Oh, I saw the news on ztwitter last night.
  12. I though he?d been found but apparently not.

  24. Think there have been general problems with delivery from that office. Holiday cover etc. There was a thread here about it.
