I'm not going to post a pic like I would if I was advertising to sell an old Ford Escort. If there's any single guys out there - they can mail me and then I'll send them a pic. Thats Fair enough isn't it? -

So after all of this banter are there ANY single males out there, preferably nice ones? Not the Jeremy Kyle candidate, loser type that the men of East D think us ladies prefer. Anyone? And what's with Tom the chef? Where does he fit into all of this? Oh and this is really not a post for me, I've got a boyfriend & a baby. It's for my v lovely/sexy/pretty friend, honest! -

Great advice ladies!!! Ok maybe I need to re title the post... Any single men available that are: - Sane - no obvious mental disorders or substance dependencies - Single - surprisingly tricky for some people to be clear about - Solvent - earns enough to support himself and pays income tax - Straight - has finished wondering whether he might be bisexual. What do you think? -
Mother Goose Nursery on Upland Road, any thoughts?
checkmeout replied to checkmeout's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I'm really not a snob, but thought the downstairs room resembled a student squat, the 'reading area' had about 4 manky old books hanging off a metal boom rack under a old piece of fabric, which was dangling from somewhere. I was in shock to see that the childrens sleep time was crashing out on a thin manky cushions. The tooth brush pots ( which each child has) were also disgusting, each toothbrush practically touching the next. Do you know how much bacteria tooth brushes spread!??? I cannot believe this is a sort after nursery!!!!! There was a little girl around 4 drinking the dirty water out of the filthy water area in the garden! There are clearly not enough staff and the house needs to be fumigated! Very very shocked! -
I am on the look out for a eligible bachelor in East D, someone around 34-40 who likes the finer things in life as well as a Guinness in a nice local pub. This is not for myself but for a very pretty/inspiring/creative friend who works in the creative industry loves music, travel, food, design, art and a million other things. I am no Cila Black but would love to see my friend with a lovely man! I know its random that i am posting this, but i can totally understand when my single friends say that going out on the pull is the last thing they feel like doing after a long day at work. And i am sure you can too! If you think you could be the one get intouch! PM me x x

Hi there I have just been to visit Mother Goose Nursery on Upland Road. Before i visited i had done quite a bit of research into nurseries and Mother Goose had a few great recommendations. It was definitely not what i was expecting. Has anyone got any thoughts/views/experience with Mother Goose? It was my first nursery visit, so i am using it as a benchmark. It would be good to know what the general consensus is. Thanks x

I have a 6 month old baby boy, and it's flown by! But now he's hit the 6 month mark. I'm starting to think about money! I work freelance and the days I work are no consistent. I want my baby to go to a nursery a couple of days a week, but do not want to commit a certain amount of days on specific days.? So I was wondering if there is a nanny/nursery that is more like a drop in centre where you pay per day.? If anyone can help with my search, I would really appreciate it and also how much is a day at a nursery/nanny. Help????

Are you a cool ( creative, inspiring and loves design, fashion, travel and music) mum?? I am a new mum and graphic designer, check out my work here www.check-me-out.co.uk Since becoming a new mum - i have found it really difficult to find like minded mums. So rather than sitting around moaning about it, i decided to start my own website, community. Bringing together like minded mums! We meet on a regular basis, sometimes it may just be 3 of us having a walk in the park or a lunch at Shoreditch House. If you think you would like to be featured on the site or contribute to the blog. Please get in touch. www.mothers-meeting.com Look forward to meeting/hearing from you xxx

Hi there I am looking for recommendations for baby friendly cafes/exhibition cafes/park cafes in London?? Alot of cafes in London tend to be tight on space. So i was wondering if anyone knows of any spacious places to go for a coffee with a few mums and buggies without feeling like you are getting in everyone's way. Look forward to discovering some new places to take my lil one xxx
