Hi there, I just wanted to recommend the lovely Jack to anyone experiencing issues with plaster and/or damp. I had re-occuring damp downstairs and some eye watering quotes from the usual surveyors in the thousands (and which involved removing tiles from the downstairs toilet etc.) Jack instead suggested opting for a French drain as the paving stones outside were build up too high. His team were efficient and tidy and completed the job in a day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend... Anna

Spring babies group (March, April, May 2019)
anna.c.r replied to carebear's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi Julie, Are you expecting your baby in April 2020? I am too - my second as well. I was just checking the ED forum to see if they?ve set up a spring babies group for 2020 yet but doesn?t look like it. Perhaps we can get the ball rolling... I would be up for a meet up/coffee at some point. Anna -
Aggressive door to dooor cleaning product sellers
anna.c.r replied to AD's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The same thing happened to me. I was putting my child to be and the man got really aggressive and said 'I know where to come and burgle first'. I said I wasn't interested and he kicked our front gate in. The police came but we're not going to be opening the door to them in future. -
Hi all, Great idea Donatella! I'm not sure about the September date yet but am free on the 20th August - will be lovely to meet you all then. Claudine - I'm sure it's fine to miss one of the NCT classes (I've heard that they can send notes on for anything important that you miss) and I expect a lot of time during the first one be taken up with introductions... Landscape Gardener Recommendation - Gardenia Gardens
anna.c.r replied to Steve Robson's topic in Reviews
This is a second recommendation for Helen and Steve at Gardenia Gardens. They have just finished re-doing our garden in East Dulwich for which they took up the decking and created a lawn space with steps and raised beds/tree boxes. We're really happy with the result. A very professional and reliable team - feel free to get in touch for pics etc. -

Our 1 year old tabby cat Ethel escaped through our front door this morning on Silvester road near the post office. She had just been staying with my parents for a few months while we were having some work done and so we were keeping her in while she settled back in. She never used the front garden and so will not be familiar with her surroundings and may be hiding in a garden or garage nearby. She is quite small and shy (and may run when approached) - she wasn't wearing a collar but is chipped. If you live in the nearby area, we would be so grateful if you could check your front gardens/hidey-holes in case she is there. We don't think she will have run far but we know wherever she is she will be frightened so any new would be much appreciated. My number is 07947 184 214 and my husband (Alex's) is 07793 894 032 Or feel free to email via this thread. Thank you in advance, Anna
