Update - Chris showed up 45 mins late on Monday (2 mins before I had to leave for work) and made a snappy diagnosis, but couldnt come back again until Wed (today). Called Alex 3 times on Tuesday (yesterday)and he never returned any of my calls, even though his voicemail message changed throughout the day. Called Chris again today and he reckons he'll be with me by 6pm this evening. Hopefully Chris will sort it tonight as I need clean clothes! The quest continues...
Thanks Lostyorkshireman, I thought about that but I'm a mere snip of a female and cant pull out my washing machine :(( I've already called Cliff, he is coming this evening. If he messes up then I'll call Alex, thanks for the feedback Sandperson. x
Heylo, Today my washing machine decided to stop draining water, I've cleaned the drain pump and removed a load of hair clips. I then ran a 2nd wash and it refused to drain. Any other ideas? It's 8 years old. Repair or replace? Thanks.
Hello, I'm really not very techy and have some images that I want to post with my thread. I have Picasa on my laptop but cant seem to find any option to reduce the size/resolution. Can you give any top tips? Thanks
Makes sense to expand given property prices. Although a loft conversion is more appealing as it can benefit from natural light. Would be interesting to see what the Elsie Road basement looks like once completed.
Ah, this was an interesting read! I've been into Chandelier twice and was happy with the service on both occassions. There really is no need to rush relaxing in the afternoon with tea, cake and good coversation! Even though I do like children it was completely refreshing to not have to navigate past over sized buggies and ensure that the toddlers running round didn't clonk thier head on the corner of my table. On one of my visits the place was full of mums to be and the second visit was full of couples without kids in tow! It seems that The Chandelier would survive without the mums of ED! There are plenty of places that are baby friendly in ED and it makes a pleasant change to have a quiet place to go to and just relax!
I'm with you all on this one. I live close to ED rail station and it's driving me crazy not being able to get a space in my own street. Residents have taken to leaving thier rubbish bins outside thier houses to try to keep thier space. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Has anyone contacted the council recently with regards to residental parking zones?
