Isn't the North Cross Road market getting artry these days? I really like the independent creative feel around here. It's great to be able to wander round a market and see art out and about, and to be able to buy straight from the person who made it. I was there yesterday, and now there is a French artist from Burgundy selling his work near Light Monkey: T shirts, cards, posters, and he is doing commissions too. Very nice guy, imaginative stuff, and accessibly priced....fantastique!
