Easy target for those who love to scoff. Huguenot, how believable do you find 40 virgins or the resurrection? Would you dismiss Islam or Christianity so flippantly on a public forum? Doubt it.

tfm33, Atticus couldn't agree more. Generally, pubs with pool tables attract a more raucous crowd, especially of a weekend.

West Ham aren't alone here, a couple of year's ago whilst at WHL a considerable amount of Everton fans made hissing noises etc, in the past I have confronted these idiots but mostly to little avail. Puts me off going away, as these fixtures attract the bigots. Scum.

to suggest that drivers take less care around cyclists with helmets is utter folly. I would ask how you go about measuring this if I didn't think it was such rubbish. Idiosyncratic at best. -
Don't really know what the fuss is about. I have never been convinced by RDM. Now is as good a time as any.

Randombloke, the awareness side of it was something I hadn't considered and therefore I stand corrected. Thanks for that, next year I will be growing said tache and hopefully raising some money and raising awareness.

No, my staring point was that it, gets a lot more sympathy by virtue of it being our beloved beeb, that is a sole reason for change.

SJ, I'm not, just trying to she'd some perspective. Yes, it is an aged institution desperately in need of a refix, for too long it has relied on being the Beeb, do you see this as an absolute?

Don't buy into it, though tempted just through curiosity to see how I would suit a moustache. I would much prefer it if Movember was side-saddled with another act of good will, say, helping out at a local hospice for one morning or, cleaning shit out of a local canal. I think sporting one's moustachioed photos whilst detailing a genuine act of good will would be more thought provoking and thus more profitable.

Not wishing to put words in ?'s mouth here but I think his argument is more to do with how hell bent folk are to protect 'Auntie' regardless of circumstances. I agree totally with him that it is a cranked institution way past its sell by date and that it needs to modernise, having its tummy tickled constantly is not good for it, or its consumers.

We had a similar problem a few year's ago. After many friendly requests were ignored, I went round knocked on the door went in and tuned off the music, don't think they even noticed, man. -
