  1. Fantastic service from Dave. Texted him at 10pm on a Sunday night re our broken boiler and by Monday at 2pm he?d sourced the part needed and fixed it with no fuss, no mess and all at a reasonable price. I?ll definitely use his services again.
  2. Excellent experience using Elliot to hang 5 heavy internal doors, and make some cupboard doors for us. Like others reviewing his work we found him friendly, punctual, trustworthy and reasonably priced whilst giving a high quality product. We will definitely use his services again.
  3. Stephen has just fitted carpets to our 2 bedrooms. He is a passionate businessman with the human touch, he took me through all the options and didn't do the hard sell on the most expensive option. We are delighted with the results and would definitely recommend him. He had to negotiate moving a lot of furniture which he and his colleague Simon did with a smile! Thank you Stephen.
  4. Contacted Vic as we needed an urgent job doing to fix a bathroom sink cabinet to the wall which had fallen off leaving the sink unsupported. He came around within a couple of hours and sorted it with no fuss. Will definitely be using him again. Thank you Vic.
  5. Knocked on my door a few months back. I asked them for ID and they showed it me and fitted a smoke alarm in addition to the one they tested and said wasn't positioned right. Very helpful!
  6. Yes running ok this morning.
  7. Richard Grieve (google him) just now in Sainsbury's!
  8. I work out at East Dulwich gym about four or five times a week. The range of equipment is pretty good and it's a nice big space (compared to many other London gyms), but it's the lack of attention to detail that has let it down: Erratic air con - it's like a greenhouse in there sometimes The turnstiles have never worked properly The water coolers are poorly maintained No shower gel in the showers Equipment out of use for longer than needed If Fusion could have got on top of these things it would have made all the difference (to me, anyway)
  9. I love Chener's Books. It's scruffy, untidy, books are piled up all over the place, and the chap who runs it looks like he's stepped straight out of a Dicken's novel himself. Just how bookshops should be (in my opinion)
  10. Only just discovered this particular thread. Richard Ayoade lives on my road. I've seen Jenny Eclair a couple of times. However, my best spot is Lorraine Chase (of Campari and Emmerdale fame). She was at the next till to me in Sainsbury's a few months back. I knew it was her because she was wearing a green t-shirt with her name and a 0891 (or similar) telephone number printed on the back. I thought it was a strange thing to wear. It was only later that I remembered she was in 'I'm a Celebrity get me out of here' and this was her t-shirt from the show! Times hard eh, Lorraine?
  11. Really enjoyed the swift drink there tonight. Much improved!
