  1. Hi James, did you get anywhere with the dates the council gave on traffic numbers in the so-called "healthy streets" consultation?
  2. So for example copies of email correspondence between Richard Livingstone / the Goose Green councillors and residents of Melbourne Grove in the last twelve months on the topic of closing off Melbourne Grove is probably easy to gather and accetpable?
  3. If we close enough roads and put in CPZs everywhere people will buy their own bikes!!
  4. If that is true then it sounds like someone lied to James too. "Posted by jamesmcash May 04, 07:18PM Hi all I have checked and apparently the baseline measurements were carried out from 28th September to 16th October 2015, when there were no road works."
  5. You say that Slarti but it would have been quite easy to pretend you were from the area on that "council" questionnaire on googledocs or whatever it was
  6. Ask the citizens advice bureau for some help on getting the original judgment set aside on the basis that you never received the bill or the court papers (assuming you never received them)
  7. Maybe today's news might tempt them not to give up just yet, if they can open up on Monday ... Fingers crossed
  8. Well a permit lasts a full year, rather than a couple of hours...
  9. ?165 is more than the annual permit FFS
  10. So I think Lordship Lane will look like a car park post lockdown with traffic trying to get to open shops queuing for hours to drive round the closed roads
  11. Pearspring had a load of plants in two weeks ago, which have since gone, the shutters have come down and sign has gone up saying closed indefnitely. There was a guy clearing out oddbins yesterday. The inside was completely empty. Fridges, till etc all gone.
  12. what kind of cycle route would they put in on Melbourne Grove?!
  13. It will be a disaster for Matham Grove unless they get rid of the no right turn at the junction of East Dulwich Grove/ Lordship Lane. I really hope all the traffic diverted that way by this closure doesn't affect the health of the poor kids attending the East Dulwich Grove nursery.
  14. Matham Grove will also need to be closed off now, thanks to the professional nimbys they are unfortunate to live near.
  15. I think the most important thing to remember for those on either side of this issue is that it?s currently a temporary measure under an experimental traffic order and as such can be made permanent without any requirement to consult the public, let alone take into account any objections. You can be sure that this barrier is going in and will never be removed.
  16. Are you actually just trolling now?

  18. James given you have now stated elsewhere that this website is ?a blog post which I sent to Labour Party members. Consequently, it makes lots of reference to things which will not interest non-party members.? and that numerous points have a party political nature, don?t you think it is an entirely inappropriate gateway for your constituents to receive your newsletter?
  19. James Barber did at least have the good grace to accept the conclusion of the report the council paid thousands of pounds for, that concluded that closing Melbourne Grove was a tremendously stupid idea.
  20. Isn't that also the website thst you have to sign up to to recieve the Goose Green councillors newsletter?
  21. They came round very early yesterday in some roads...
  22. Careful you don't do yourself a repetitive strain injury twitching those curtains...
  23. More bins would necessitate more staff to empty them and we have been told before there is no budget for more street cleaning staff. The coffers overflow for projects to close roads and ban parking though.
  24. Suspect the new pitch will also be turned into flats in the next few years, given that football clubs are not compatible with social distancing and therefore unlikely to be financially viable at the bottom end.
