  1. I can only eat and drink craft-based food and drink like Northern Monk pale ale or a artisan loaves - I get terrible dyspepsia with mass produced food.
  2. I really vintage Edam - very flavoursome. I?ve been using it for cutting Shropshire Blue.
  3. I got a great new cheese knife from the smelly French cheese stall in Borough Market - it?s a diamond cut Japanese steel cheese knife with a double serrated edge that obliquely cuts the cheese to bring out the flavour. And it?s cunningly made to look like a normal dinner knife so you don?t feel pretentious when using it. And it was reduced from ?99 to ?75! And it came in a recycled cardboard presentation box.

  5. I?m planning a good booze at The Castle for the Platinum Jubilee - I?ll be there on Thursday into Friday.
  6. I?m a Monzo Plus guy so it?s ok with me.
  7. I also really like the artisan small batch seeded sourdough loaves that the bread stall at Borough Market does and they?re only ?14 per loaf - I like to compare and contrast them with the Saturday bread from North Cross Road.
  8. Quail too. The cheese bridge is made of ?dry? plywood which helps the cheese flavours to peak when left at room temperature - and it was only ?150 from that vintage cheese stall in Borough Market.
  9. They?re either snacks or for my Jamie Oliver cheese bridge (it helps brings out the flavour).

    5 a day

I?m trying to eat my 5 a day - chicken, beef, pork, lamb, and turkey basically.
  11. Yes, I agree, and so near to Borough Market too. Though mostly I to do everything in ED.
  12. One is definitely more piquant than the other. The next comparison I?ll do on Saturday is 24-month aged Parmesan (Cheese Block) vs. 36-month aged Parmesan (Mons).
  13. Oh - Bob will be disappointed to see it go too.
  14. I?ve been doing some helpful comparisons this week and have noted the Red Leicester from Mons is redder than the one sold at The Cheese Block.
  15. Or Rover (it?s a bit like Airbnb for dogs). Just download the app.
  16. Spartacus Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > /forum/read.php? > 20,2270257 That is all about restaurant meals - I'm trying to be compliant with the nmew requirements for homebased calorie labelling.
  17. Does anyone know if there?s a quick online calorie calculator for working out the calorie count for home-cooked meals to comply with the new rules?
  18. I shall tag them in a tweet to ask for help.
  19. Can the Boundary Commission help me with the incorrect placement of my neighbour?s fence?
  20. I?ve downloaded all the Land Registry plans for my road (MG) and measured them with my slide rule and compared those measurements to the actual fence boundaries - I?ve come to conclusion my neighbour?s fence is in the wrong place and needs to be moved back by 1 metre. I went round last night to tell them my findings and and they me told to p*** off.
