I've got a postal vote for the Euro elections. I'll vote LD because they're the unequivocal remain party.
  4. I haven't got an EV yet. I have 3 cars - X2 C3s and a Volvo V70.

  7. I've stopped going and send Mrs Bob to Waitrose instead.
  8. Thanks for the advice everyone, but Mrs Bob says it's probably best she goes on her own to Sweden and I stay at home. I'll just do a steam inhalation from an IKEA bowl instead. Is menthol or eucalyptus oil best to inhale?
  9. I've just read in today's Guardian that you can also get craft bacon with none of those carcinogenic nitrites added. Does anyone know if WR, F&H or the new place in DV sell craft bacon?
  10. Thank you for your erstwhile advice - I will take heed - is it the 'budgie smuggler' type Speedos I should wear?
  11. Yes, Mrs Bob is coming along. I've decided to pack one of those types of towels that could be seen either as a bath towel or a beach towel -I should be fine then and Swedish mishaps.

  13. I've been watching Scandi noir sauna scenes in preparation for my trip, but I can't make out if they're using bath or beach towels in the sauna scenes.
  14. Any Scandi fans out there? I'm thinking of going to Sweden soon, so I might be invited to a sauna. I know Swedish people don't tend to wear clothes in the sauna, but I know they use towels - are they bath towels or beach towels? I I don't want to be out of place bringing the wrong sort of towel because I'm English.
  15. Do they do organic pork medallions? I can't get them at F&R or WR.
  16. My understanding is that Victorian houses were originally painted in dark colours.
  17. Yes, but that seems ok doesn't it? She pops up at the weekends after she has sorted the guests out and then I make a big campfire and we have some craft ales from that beer shop on LL, or vintage Herefordshire cider.

Mrs Bob stays at home and looks after the Airbnb guests during the week, and then comes to see me at the weekends.
  19. Camping at the Fort can feel like you're away from everything. I'm planning to stay there again for the whole summer in my caravan whilst I rent my double fronter out on Airbnb in July and August.
  20. Even better - crafting cultured vegan butter! https://fullofplants.com/vegan-cultured-butter/
  21. Yes, it must have been changed from pre-2006 to actual emissions figures.

Yes I know shed loads about > it. > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_emission_st > andards Yes, I checked it on the TfL website - none of the three cars are eligible for paying the ULEZ, even though they're all pre-2006 petrol cars.
  23. I have three cars - two run around Citroen C3s for me and my wife and one Volvo V70 estate for family outings and holidays. They are all pre-2006 petrol models, so I thought we'd have to pay the ULEZ - but when I checked they're are all exempt, but the Guardian at the weekend said most 2006 models would be charged. So that's great, I don't need to worry and we can all carry on driving as normal.
