  1. Thank you for your advice. I will follow up. Thank you.
  2. Hi, is there someone who can read Polish available to help me translate some documents relating to my late father? They are records concerning his war time service as a pilot so an understanding of military and/or technical language might also be useful. Thanks, M.
  3. I took this photo to show some of the damage done by Tree Amigos to Goose Green by their trucks reversing onto the green to deliver trees. I hope they are encouraged to repair the damage before they decamp.
  4. Goose Green Labour councillors: James McAsh, Victoria Olisa and Charlie Smith [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]
  5. Thankfully their generator stopped early today (Sunday) and the constant drone or thrum (depending on your ears) has discontinued. A friend (used to be an East Dulwich resident) contacted me out of the blue after driving past "It looks like an alien spaceship has landed on Goose Green!) After the discussion on this forum what is the best course of action to express our concerns? 1. Use of community facility for commercial enterprise. - commercial damage to local traders - no consultation - exclusion of ordinary users from Green - state of Goose Green afterwards 2. Nuisance to residents - light pollution - noise pollution - parking issues
  6. Another image of light pollution taken from our front door.
  7. To contribute to the above discussion points without too much repetition... The Christmas tree selling enclosure on Goose Green is an eyesore, day and night. It is a commercial operation on a green that most consider for community use and enjoyment. Most people feel excluded from having their considerations being taken account off. It is an external operation that takes business away from traditional local sellers. It's business hours are supposedly eight to eight but presumably preparation and closure extend these hours. Attached image shows light pollution at 20:39 on Friday evening
  8. John Relph did the Sika Tanking damp proofing for our downstairs bathroom. He is a Triton approved contractor. All the damp proofing work was guaranteed by TUG Guarantee Services Limited for 10 years. John was straight forward and business like in all his dealings with us. I have every confidence in the quality of the work. His contact details are mobile 07713 187 226, landline 0208 859 1501.
