We are on upland road and have had nothing for two weeks. Neighbour has just been over, spoke to a parcel delivery driver for Royal Mail this morning. Apparently the Peckham rye sorting office is, to quote ‘in meltdown and the manager couldn’t care less’. How about we all post on x on the Royal Mail feed at a fixed time and bombard them with the same complaint?

southwark plan to remove trees in the park, opposite the boys school, in order for contractors to carry out flooding work. The Friend of Peckham Rye Park are fighting this and asking the council and contractors to find alternative way to carry out work without need to remove healthy trees. if you want to object, go onto southwark council planning applications and search no 23/AP/1028

Has anyone else noticed the low level electrical buzzing noise around the junction of Friern Road and Upland Road. It seems to be coming from the Barry Road side of Friern somewhere. Can also hear it down towards the junction of Henslow and Upland Road. It?s getting rather annoying to say the least.

Is anyone else having issues with parcels not being delivered or even attempted to be delivered. We have had two parcels from the same online retailer not show up, the first being sent on the 2nd of August, and the second on the 12th of August, also tracked 24-48 hour deliveries taking up to 10 days to arrive. We are going to have to go back to the sellers to resend yet again but by another service, Dpd etc We are on upland road, and we are lucky to get 2 or 3 postal deliveries a week. It?s been utterly shambolic since moving the sorting office to Peckham.

I have had my Landrover Discovery 4 XS stolen off my drive on Tuesday evening. We are near the junction of Friern road and Upland road, on Upland Road. Also taken was a black North Face bag which was in the car containing valuable work items. Please be aware that there is a gang operating in the area targeting high end 4x4s.

Just to let and Motorcyclists and scooter riders know that a traffic enforcement camera is now monitoring tis junction. It is for cycles only. The camera is on the lamppost by the phonebox,and the notice informing of its presence is 10 feet up the lamppost.
