The on board announcements were hilarious. When approaching Peckham Rye "Give me a pony, take your suitcase from the van we are now approaching Peckham Rye! Please cross over the platform for Boris trains or platform 4 for trains to the delights of Catford and Dartford. When approaching East Dulwich "We are now approaching Dulwich.. East-side! Please ensure you take all your expensive items with you and be careful on the slope to the main road"

Or even train from East Dulwich to Tulse Hill and change for Thameslink direct to St Pancras. As long as you don't leave the station Oyster will never know you ventured into Zone 3 temporarily! :) The other way round is easy as its on the same platform island.

same happened here last night!!

This happened to me yesterday, bloke claimed he lived downstairs at first, then next door. Had ?20 in his hand and said he needs money to get a taxi to Romford Hospital to see his wife. Got ratty when I said you can probably get there from her via train for that. Eventually said its not your problem and left. Then about half an hour ago someone rang the bell claiming they wanted to visit a Mr Smith, couldn't provide a first name, just said they were visiting. Eventually went away when threatened with the police.

Paying full rate: ?4.60 x 3 x 52 = ?717.60/year, ?59.80 a month Paying monthly: ?49 a month = ?588 a year. (Includes Gym) Using the Southwark Rewards Card: ?2.60 x 3 = ?7.80 a week = ?405.60 a year + ?54 fee for card = ?459.60 = ?38.30 a month!

Joseph just did a house move from Brighton to Dulwich for me, and let me stop at Ikea to pick up a few things on the way. He arrived early and was very helpful, he has a great sense of humour! Highly recommended!
