I've never figured out why Lordship has become a yuppie hub, I'm in my 40's now but I still have memories of Lordship Lane as a kid when it was tacky and uncool, especially the Tesco..possibly the worst supermarket for miles, staffed by retards (sorry meant to say they were not customer centric)

Just wondering what Peckham Rye park is like these days..it used to be the pits when you compared it to Dulwich Park. My parents used to say it was actually better than Dulwich Park in the 1960s, it had nice gardens, brass bands playing there etc. Is it worth a visit ?

When I used to live in East Dulwich I used this junction regularly for 25 years without any problems...total overkill,no need for lights there at all. I guess it does it give you a bit of time to admire that odd hardware store on the corner with it's bizzare outbuildings
