  1. I'm sure it wasn't.. the 'lady' in question will know exactly who she is, she barely spoke to me, just laugh at me for a couple of minutes while I got my coat and left. 2. Hi Sean, no it was one of the ladies that just laughed at me. I'm looking forward to the photos, might help me to put some names to faces. 4. Well you sound perfect for me, they were always meant to be together and then we wouldn't have had to go through the follow up episode. 5. Care to join me? karter Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Speed dating in ED, that's brilliant.
  6. Thank you kindly, it was rather daunting. I like Miles from This Life, I like to think we're similar only I'm better looking but less arogant ;-) LuLu Too Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Miles - somehow I see you as a Jack Davenport > type..... > > Good for you for having the cojones to start this > thread and go to Forum drinks. 7. I don't recall meeting you, but I did meet a lot of people. Maybe I was given your real name? Most people seem to have remembered me from this thread. There will be a photo of me up. shoshntosh Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > miles, so which one were you at the Forum Drinks > on Friday night? Did we meet? 9. Costume dramas never really interest me, but Atonement was very good. indiepanda Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Miles Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Being a real man, I have no idea what a male > > version of Bridget Jones, or more Sex and the > City > > might involve never having watched them :)) > > Fair comment... 10. The term model online usually refers to an escort... ask how much it's costing him :))
  11. Being a real man, I have no idea what a male version of Bridget Jones, or more Sex and the City might involve never having watched them :)) indiepanda Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Miles Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > I was joking with another forumite that I might > > start a blog about my love life, it's usually a > > good read. > > So would we be talking a male version of Bridget > Jones, or more Sex and the City?? > > All these promises of single men at the next > drinks, I'm disappointed I can't make them!
  12. Hmm, I'm not so sure, you all might get the right idea about me ;-) karter Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Morning Miles, Still think the blog would be a > good read.
  13. TBH I find people who swear inarticulate and stupid, but sometimes you're driven to it. KalamityKel Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm sure a nice intelligent man such as urself can > come up wiv better words than those in the swear > filter...
  14. I'm impressed the site wont let me swear. SteveT Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Love life blog Miles? > > > it will never get past the admin police if it's > like Kel says, 'intriguing'.
  15. I was joking with another forumite that I might start a blog about my love life, it's usually a good read. KalamityKel Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm wondering if Miles is considering starting up > a dating agency for ED... ya got enuff interest > going ;-)
  16. There will always be another time and if you can't wait for the next drinks, there is always pms. hibbs Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Miles - hopefully I wont be suffering from a 'hot > flush' next time we meet ;-), sorry I didn't get a > chance to talk to you.
  17. :)) My mate J4mes has just become single and he is rather a catch, I'll get him along to the next one. As commented by someone else, its hard to speak to everyone although I would have liked to, so having built a base talking to a few people I now look forward to the chance of speaking to more. indiepanda Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Miles Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Having told my mates of my experience, there are > 4 > > or more than want to come along to the next > drinks > > and maybe the curry club, a couple use the > forum > > and a couple dont. 18. A quick thanks to Ladygooner for looking after me, and to everyone I chatted too. It was a good night. Having spoken to my friends there are 4 or more that want to come to the next one, a couple are board members already and I think the others may join. I've been away this weekend, hence me not being on the thread. To everyone who has asked, yes, there were some pretty ladies present. Mockeny Piers, dont worry fella it wasnt you, I quite enjoyed out chat, looking forward to carrying it on sometime soon. Mr Ben was quite right that the night wasnt one bit cliquey, a very friendly and inviting crowd.
  19. In case you missed my post on the other thread.. 'That was a good night, I'm amazed by the turn out, looks like the board must be popular. I was more surprised by the number of people that told me they'd only come along to meet me, I didn't realise I'd created such interest. The people were much as I expected, a complete cross section. Some very friendly that I'd like to see again, some normal people and one utter @#$%& who just stood and laughed at me - very polite.' Thinking more, it wasnt the easiest enviroment to chat as the music was up loud (something I have trouble with) through no fault of the organisers. Having told my mates of my experience, there are 4 or more than want to come along to the next drinks and maybe the curry club, a couple use the forum and a couple dont. More new meat for you all :)

  21. Quick bump - this time tomorrow evening I'll have put some faces to names. :)
