  1. Thanks all. Tried nail varnish remover as I had some, worked a treat. Brilliant!
  2. I have a collection of jars that I want to use for Christmas baked goods and decorate, but the labels and glue residue are terribly difficult to remove. Does anyone have a secret/magical/easy method of getting this gunk off the jars? Thanks
  3. Thanks, I've been trying to resolve matter using the Ombudsman but they are almost as incompetent as my landlord. Will check that out. Cheers.
  4. Just that really, if you know or have used a good legal professional for a tenant/landlord dispute, I could do with some advice. Cheers Karen.

  8. I'm 6 weeks into an 8 week mindfulness course and I love it. Great for finding some tactics to remain calm around kids and have started to introduce it to my 6yr old. Please let me know if you set up something.
  9. What height are they? 135cms and over don't need anything.
  10. Transport museum, Covent garden and Somerset house all really close to each other
  11. Have you tried Jane? I'm pretty sure she takes in animals for boarding. Search her name. All the best
  12. I could have written the exact same post about the Lambeth and Southwark HA. No help to you but you are not alone. Good luck! (PS. I put all my complaints through the formal complaints process to get to the Housing Ombudsman)
  13. There is an explore learning centre at Sainsburys in New Cross.
  14. Dulwich Hamlet Supporters are holding an event and have a donations page, please have a look in the 'what's on' section of the forum, might be more efficient to join/promote/donate/support an already up and running scheme. If people sign the petitions please also click on the 'email my MP' link, if you can't think what to write then feel free to copy/paste my text.... This petition now has over 300,000 signatories and awaits a response from the government. Please vigorously pursue not only an answer to the petition but a course of action that seeks to put an end to the shamefully inadequate response of our government. Thank you
  15. Thanks for posting those links.
  16. Walters Family School of Taekwondo has classes in the Bussey building on a Sat. They have a Facebook page for more details.
  17. Fountains at Somerset house are wonderful, not far from Covent garden either. Re: fountains at Southbank centre, always call first to check they are on as it can be unpredictable. Museum of London is great.
  18. Walters Family School of Taekwondo in the Bussey Building. Check out their Facebook page or call Daniel/Shakira 07988 060133
  19. PM sent.... Karen.
  20. How about Paultons? It's got peppa pig world in it, fabulous gardens, water play park, loads of kiddie rides outside of the peppa pig area and loads of easily accessible lockers for dumping swim stuff/picnic/coats. I found it to be far less frantic than legoland or chessington because there is just so much greenery to relax in/near when not doing rides. Really lovely park.
  21. I believe the fusion pool in camberwell is open for general swim/no lessons on a Friday.
  22. Cheers...
  23. Bump.....I would like to know as well....
  24. You don't have to necessarily take part in missions when they come up, they are stored in a mission log and can be accessed at any time although sometimes 'monsters' may appear they can be engaged in battle or ignored. My son also enjoys just going around using the various characters abilities, some fly, spiderman travels using webs etc. IMO it's a game that can be enjoyed on lots of levels.
