  1. I took my puppy to goose green a lot. Lots of lovely dog walkers there too. I also go to Sydenham woods a lot too. Once you?re in it feels nice and enclosed and as someone else said, it?s likely your pup won?t venture too far from you anyway
  2. I found it! I?ve sent you a PM
  3. Try foxglove forest school, it?s great fun. On wednesdays it?s at bell house in Dulwich village and on Thursdays in Sydenham. My husband likes taking our daughter and seems a little more dad friendly than some other classes. You could also try swimming lessons at everyone active
  4. I went at the weekend and there?s a huge canopy for shade.
  5. I had a great time with my 18 month old at the weekend. I was concerned to find a few construction screws in the sand though. What?s the plan in terms of maintaining the park? Finding the screws did make me wonder how long it would be until there was broken glass and then trips to a&e to have it removed....
  6. Hi Anne and Hannah, I?ve set up a whatsapp group, if you?d like to join send me your numbers.
  7. Hi Peter and Jade, welcome to the area! I?m happy to set up a whatsapp group for us. If you want to PM your numbers over i?ll Get one started
  8. Thanks Specklemum, I've heard that Ariadna Sole is pretty good from other people. Where are you thinking of doing a class? I'm thinking of doing the pregnancy pilates again at ESPH, I thought that was pretty good first time round (if a little expensive!!)
  9. Hi, I?m expecting my second in November and enjoyed the meet ups last time round from this group. Would also be great to meet people expecting similar time as I don?t think i?ll do any antenatal classes - unless anyone can recommend a good one for second/third time parents...
  10. Could it be this... http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?25,1838196
  11. I have artificial grass in my teeny tiny east dulwich garden. It didn't make sense for me to put down real grass. For the few sq ft I didn't want to then have to store a lawn mower. Personally I think it looks great. It is long, lush and soft. Artificial lawns have come a long way in the last few years and some look fantastic. I would agree some also look awful. I have 'easi grass - mayfair'. It's the top of their range so excellent quality. It has a shock absorbant underlay and feels just like walking on carpet. If you'd like to come and have a look at mine you'd be more than welcome.
  12. We saw what we liked in the local carpet shop, looked online and found it at dourof carpets in catford. They then had cheaper underlay (for the same quality), cheaper grippers and cheaper fitting. It was a no brainier and our carpet looks great!
  13. I had an appointment on a Wednesday and the passport arrived on Monday. It was for a first passport though. Hope yours comes quickly!
  14. Just in case anyone is on here but not Facebook, lots of us are meeting at The Lordship on Wednesday 2nd November from 6:30pm for a drink (or two).
  15. I've got the quooker. I love how easy it is to use and how much sleeker my counter looks.
  16. Hello! I'm due 20th Feb and doing NCT in Jan. The one that runs two saturdays. I also signed up for the NHS course too so it feels like I'm sure i'll bump into you along the way at some point.
  17. I'm thinking of using Elliot for quite a considerable amount of work. Can I be a bit cheeky and ask if anyone would mind me seeing some of his work. I've seen lots of pictures but it's not quite the same as seeing in the flesh. Many thanks
  18. Hi all, another Feb mum here too. Due at the end of February with my first. I know what you mean motorbird about it not quite seeming real! Keen to join the meet up in September.
  19. We used sterling landscapes who supplied and fitted easigrass for us, as like you, our garden was too small for easigrass to consider. He was very reasonably priced and came back when we weren't happy with a little patch. Had it installed a couple of months ago and still looks perfect. http://sterlinglandscapes.co.uk
  20. Pellatt road party is in full swing with do and bouncy castle. Come on down!
  21. For a while my garden has had hundreds of these spiders. When we bought the house you could step in the garden without scaring scores of them away. When we dug everything out and replaced the paving etc they seemed to disappear for a while but now they're back with a vengeance. Any idea how to limit their numbers? I've just counted 20 in my lawn alone!
  22. You could have a look at some of these perhaps? http://theliteracytree.co.uk/media/downloads/Illustrated%20Early%20Novels%20List.pdf
  23. Baregroove are great! They performed at my wedding last year. I would book them again without looking anywhere else.
