  1. A nice duvet cover with a favourite character? Costumes for dressing up.
  2. I went to one of the Kinderhotels near Goldeck in Austria this year with my then 4 yr and 18 month old. There was skiing on site for the really little ones, shuttle to ski resort (including ski school) and lots of fab childcare. I would highly recommend.
  3. http://www.olympicubs.co.uk/ You can choose the theme - reasonably priced too in comparison to other birthday entertainment. I am sure superheroes is a common theme!
  4. I am delighted to echo the positive reviews for Aria on this thread. We needed a garden tap changed and a couple of issues with toilet flushing button and tap leaks. He responded promptly and was there withing the hour to look at them. He identified the problems quickly, went out and obtain the parts, and completed the work within an hour of returning. He was thorough and checked several times to make sure everything was working properly before he left. I discovered later that he had missed fitting a tap valve we had briefly talked about and called him to report the omission. Again he responded astonishingly promptly and was there within the hour to rectify the problem. This gentleman is super efficient and provides a very professional service of a very high standard. Only downside was the price which I thought was a bit steep. But that is probably because I didn't agree one with him before starting the job, so I would recommend one does that. He is certainly very reliable and I will absolutely be using him again should I have any plumbing issues in the future.

  8. I can highly recommend Celia at Dulwich College Sports Club. Please contact DCSC for her number. My daughter was in her swimming classes at DC and it took her less than a term to learn to swim. She has also had a couple of one to one lessons with Celia which she really enjoyed.

  15. We have used Roberts and Dennis twice for packing and removals. They were fab. They are now part of harradines but still work separately.
  16. I went to see a brilliant physio at Dulwich Medical Centre during my second pregnancy. He sorted out my pain in just a couple of sessions. I also saw him after my pregnancy to help with long standing knee pain. http://www.dulwichphysioltd.co.uk/
  17. The time has come for my preschooler's hair to have a bit of a trim. She has beautiful mixed hair with very tight curls and it is more Afro than European. She has had plaits done in Peckham at Afro hairdressers before but I am not certain where to take her to have her hair trimmed a bit. I would be grateful if anyone has a hairdresser they might be able to recommend - ideally one who has experience with children (although she is very patient when she has her hair plaited so should be fine either way).

  22. We have a baby bay maxi which is fab. I didn't have a cosleeper for my first and i regret that now! My first was also a big baby so I went for a larger cosleeping cot as my friends babies had outgrown some cosleepers by 3 months. My daughter is almost 4 months and despite being really long, there is still plenty of space for her. Its more expensive than the chicco but I preferred the way it attaches to the bed and doesn't leave a gap at all. We also have a detachable side for the baby bay so it can be freestanding too.
  23. Congratulations. If you send me your email address I can add you to the group email list.
