We are sad to say we are leaving 😢 Before we go, we wanted to let you know how much we have enjoyed our time here. Thank you all for your support, kindness, lovely comments on this forum here and friendship over the past nearly 30 years. You are a special group of people and we will definitely miss you all. This was a Main Post Office, privately owned rather than directly managed offering full range of services and will remain so. It will reopen on Monday 2nd July after being refurbished and will benefit from extended hours, offering Post Office services 7 days a week. Selected transactions will only be available core hours and these will be advertised on the Post Office website. It was our decision to sell as the time was right for us. Postal Scam Can you circulate this around especially as Christmas is fast approaching - it has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following scam: A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service)suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a premium rate number). DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from Belize . If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed ?15 for the phone call. If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655 or ICSTIS (the premium rate service regulator) at www.icstis.org.uk

They will also be able to take passport size photos which will be compliant and this is really a good service if you need photos for children.
