I lived in Forest Hill as a boy and it was always my job to count the sacks of coal for my mum's Aga. In the sixties the Aga was ripped out and central heating installed. It was then my job to smash the Aga into small enough pieces (and loads of clay) to get rid of. Can you imagine a six or seven year old solid fuel Aga being dumped today?

Update. I have now taken the body to Lomax's Vets, by the Harvester, to see if they could find a microchip. Unfortunately one couldn't be found but they have kindly agreed to keep the cat for two weeks and then cremate it, if nobody comes forward.
Sorry to have to report this but it may put someones mind to rest A large, short haired, all black cat with no collar was hit by a vehicle at the junction of Colwell Road tonight. He/she sustained massive injuries and was gone in seconds so didn't suffer. R I P Puss.
Nobody in Lewisham Council needs to be strung up. The Adhesive Specialities building was altered in the early 80s in the style of Art Deco. Underneath it was pure 60s.
I saw it yesterday, approx 6.15 am over Barry Road. It drifted towards Forest Hill. I think it said "Happy Birthday" on the balloon. Saw it again this morning at about the same time, pronably over Dawsons Heights.
Probably the cheapest way to get to London airports is the Easy Bus service from Victoria. Like all Easy services the price goes up as the time shortens, so check the price and reserve asap
As a kid, when asking my mother or gran where something missing might be, I was always told the same thing It's up in Annie's room, behind the clock! We lived in a bungalow and didn't know an Annie.
