Hi I am returning to live in ED in March 2010 with my daughter after spending 5 years overseas. My daughter will be 5 years old in Feb 2010 - I'm alittle confused with the schooling system here. Will she have to attend school as soon as she arrives (as she will be 5) or can it wait until Sept 2010? Also my daughter does not speak any English and I am concerned that she will struggle to adapt - are there any bi-lingual schools in ED (English and Spanish) or schools which have Spanish language support assistants? Spanish playgroups? I know that there is one bi-lingual school but it is in Nottinghill - but I am looking for something closer to home. Any advice would be gratefully received.
