Does anybody know what this moth/butterfly is & is it common? I've never seen it before. It was on our rosebush in Bawdale Rd yesterday & the one that most resembles it in my searches is a native of Florida. Apologies for the quality of the photos. Thanks for any suggestions.
The grove vale library has for a long time simply purchased the papers each day. Not withstanding there are newsagents shops everywhere next door or metres away, Yeah, well go and buy one!
Is it a coincidence that E.Dul has a pub called The Actress & another called The Bishop? I've never known if the two pubs shared owners or some other connection.
Love an Olly's but I agree with an earlier poster: prices taking the piss! Ken's good too but we've become big fans of Sea Master near the Rye for the crispy chips & freshly cooked fish. Worth a go.
Yeah, we had horrendous problems with carpet moths but steaming did do the trick. The key is to get the eggs which are visible but are bloody hard to destroy. Steam, vacuum & repeat 2 or 3 times. No problems since.
