Incidentally, it's the last day today (Sunday 19th) to bid to win special DHFC kits to raise money for International Women's Day charities. Details here: http://dhst.org.uk/silent-auction/

Just turn up on the day and come in through the turnstiles. Edited to say: see further info on post below (next page) re tickets in advance.

There will be live commentary of the replay at Macclesfield Town on Tuesday night. This time it will be here: http://livesportsfm.co.uk

It used to be the same in the FA Cup too when the old Football League teams became involved in the competition. It has only been since the 1990/91 season that FA Cup replays have been played "on the second Wednesday following the original match, or earlier if mutually agreed by the two Clubs" from the First Round Proper onwards. This is as a result of a change in police advice for the staging of such games. For the earlier stages of the FA Cup, replays have to be played "on or before the following Thursday" after the drawn match. In the FA Trophy any drawn match throughout the competition "must be replayed on the following Thursday, unless the Clubs mutually agree to an earlier day". Clubs also have the option of settling a tie at the first time of asking: through extra time and penalties if required. Both clubs have to agree to this though, which obviously wasn't the case for the match last Saturday.

For anyone unable to get to or possibly get into the game today, a commentary will be available via our visitors at this site from 2.55pm: http://mixlr.com/macclesfield-town-fc

The oysters are 'Fines de Claire' which are French and cost ?2.25 each for a dozen, ?2.50 each for half a dozen.

Top game in prospect later today. Needham Market are in second place in the league - above Dulwich Hamlet - but they lost 6-0 in a league match on Wednesday. It is, what i believe is often referred to as, a 'six pointer' - one of many to come.

Am I wrong? No. The menu and the picture of it on Instagram has been corrected.

Interesting. At least one application on Lordship Lane has been refused on the grounds that a change of use (A1 to A3) "would increase the number of non-retail uses to an unacceptable level resulting in material harm to the retail character and vitality of the shopping parade".

Officially opens on Thursday 16th although they have obviously been doing some trial runs judging by their Instagram page. I'm hoping it will be like Casse-Cro?te only a bit nearer home.

Well worth a look. Tuesday's highlights from Dulwich Hamlet TV. As always, really well crafted by Jamal and Tom:

And commentary will, once again, be streamed via BBC Radio Essex.

To get in the mood for tonight's huge FA Trophy replay vs Braintree Town you can see the highlights from Saturday's draw here:

0-0. Really deserved to win it. Replay at Champion Hill this Tuesday 7th at 7.45pm.
-
For those who can't make it to Braintree today, there is, apparently, live commentary on Radio Essex. Kick off 3pm.

If anyone was hoping to get along to Champion Hill tonight for the London Senior Cup match vs Barkingside - it's been called off.

Mine was glitchy rather than down completely but seems fine now

Exciting stuff: Watch the Buildbase FA Trophy third round draw live on Twitter http://www.thefa.com/news/2017/jan/13/fa-trophy-third-round-draw-live-130117#.WHyWTsIRBaE.twitter Draw streamed online via the @FA Twitter account at 10.30am today (Monday).

Great game - especially after their keeper had to be subbed off after 65 mins. To be fair Dulwich had been on top for large parts of the game, notwithstanding a defensive blunder on 46 mins that gifted Whitehawk the opening goal. The FA Trophy draw is (usually) on the Monday after the weekend games so we should know who Dulwich will face in the last 16 tomorrow. At the moment (Worthing have a replay) we are the only tier 7 club that will definitely play in the next round. It also means that the home league game against Leatherhead that was due to take place on 4th Feb is postponed.

For info: Highlights of games are available for free shortly after each match here: https://www.youtube.com/dulwichhamlettv I gather it's helpful if you subscribe or follow or whatever the equivalent is on YouTube.

Yep we won 2-1 vs Faversham which means that the Hamlet are now through to play Hornchurch away in the quarter final of the League Cup. Quite a few players were being rested though ahead of the FA Trophy 2nd round game at Whitehawk this coming Saturday. The next league game at home is not until Saturday 4th Feb against Leatherhead - although there is a London Senior Cup match against Barkingside at Champion Hill on Tuesday 24th. Just wondering why a thread from October 2007 has been resurrected?
