Nothing claimed yet. We also have a blue hoody top 'age 9-10' with the surname Sabatini in it. Do let me know if this is yours or you know whose it might be. Thanks.

No. That will not even be an option. Anyway, this is just Southwark's view, not a final decision upon which any action is likely to be taken. The document also makes clear that discussions with the developer will continue during the pre-Inquiry period.
  3. Thanks johnrich - and thanks to the East Dulwich Forum for making it possible.
  4. I was one of the volunteers at the event yesterday. The Dulwich Festival is keen to receive feedback - positive, negative and constructive - so comments posted on here will be noted. If there are any issues you would prefer not to raise on a public forum, please PM me and I will make sure that these are passed on or, if you prefer, provide an appropriate point of contact.
  5. I've posted this on the Festival Fair thread as well but... We had a number of items handed into the Organisers' Area at the Festival Fair yesterday including a credit card and some clothing. Please PM me with a brief description of any item - full name for the credit card of course - and I will get back to.

  7. Hi, I was one of the organisers yesterday and we had a report of lost sunglasses I will PM you with details.
  8. http://dulwichfestival.co.uk/product/street-art-walk-sunday-14/ ...See some of these works and the paintings that inspired them with a 2 hour street art walk with Amanda Greatorex.
  9. > The problem is not with The Police. The problem is with the Law and The Courts and what sentence they can hand down. Would anyone actually care to elucidate upon what sentences can be handed down? What are the sentencing guidelines to magistrates for the offence of the possession of a bladed article/offensive weapon for example? Any reference to the Povey judgement in the Court of Appeal that shifted the guidance towards the top end of the applicable range of sentencing options might be helpful too. You might be surprised. I'm pretty sure that the issue is a rather more complicated than the law and the courts.
  10. The Bognor Regis Town ground at Nyewood Lane (the "Nye Camp"!) has a capacity of 4,500 so getting in shouldn't be a problem. Probably best not to turn up at the last minute though. This will be the fourth time since 2011 that Dulwich have met Bognor Regis Town in the play-offs. All the ties have been away but, despite that, Dulwich are 2-1 up in the Win/Loss stakes. Bognor won the only play-off final tie - in 2012 - but Dulwich won the only Ryman Premier play-off tie - last year (the earlier ones were Ryman South).
  11. Huge 3-0 win for the Hamlet at Burgess Hill Town this afternoon. Now five points clear of the chasers in 3rd spot. A home win on Easter Monday (3pm at Champion Hill) would secure 3rd and home advantage in the play-off semi-final. (The play-offs are one leg only).
  12. The Smiths brand has been owned by PepsiCo since the 1990s. They also own Walkers.
  13. James Barber Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > When Labour came to power in 2010.... The rate of recycling in England was increasing at a decent annual rate from 2000 to 2010 and then flatlined thereafter. The latest available figures (published late 2016) actually showed an annual decline for the first time. A DEFRA publication summarising their policies from 2010-2015 states: "Removing centrally imposed recycling targets" "We?ve removed centrally imposed recycling targets. This will allow councils to act on their own local priorities, while also improving recycling rates." So the evidence would suggest that the big difference was caused by a policy change at national level. Southwark still has the best recycling rate in central London btw - double that of Westminster (which is probably a bit more important than the information on their website not being quite as good). http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t370/dcdulwich/61E04C18-2991-4DB4-B408-50DAF3013A3A_zpst43rdvxs.jpg
  14. True. And lots of bottled options. I've always liked Fullers. They tend to refurbish pubs with a sympathy and respect not shared by a brewer formerly based in Wandsworth, amongst others. Impressed so far - just a bit too rammed in the evenings. That will tail off a bit I guess and it's a nice problem to have: certainly better than the alternative.
  15. From the Dulwich Society website (http://dulwichsociety.com) The Crown & Greyhound There is still no confirmation of an opening date. There have been further delays on the handover of the base building and we now expect the pub to re-open sometime in June. The continuing delays reflect very badly on the Dulwich Estate.
  16. Huge game today when Billericay Town and their soap-opera circus roll up to Champion Hill.
  17. I went on a school trip to northern France with Dulwich Hamlet school a few years ago (as a parent/governor). We visited a snail farm which I thought at the time was a rather impressive itinerary stop for 10 year olds. The farm has sort of covered frames that the snails gather under and do what snails do. All the kids, bar one or two, tried and liked the snails - served with the usual slathering of garlic butter. I think it's fair to say that the trips to the chocolate factory and bakery were a bit more popular though...
  18. It's a Fullers pub so limited scope for other beers. I gather they are stocking beer from the Canopy Brewery just around the corner though, which is good. Actually I have remembered that they undercharged us on the beer. The bill had three pints on it when we actually had four. We pointed this out (being very honest types) but they said it was their error so not to worry - which was very decent of them. So 4 pints for ?12.60. We were really there to have a nose about and try the food (at 50% off!) in order to help train staff etc - a selfless gesture on our part. The standard was very good. I had potted shrimps, for example, that were (hushed tones) as good, if not better, than the same dish in Sweetings a few weeks ago. Not cheap (well not at full price) but not daft either, especially if they keep their standards up.
  19. London Pride was ?4.20 when I went in last Friday and it was in fine fettle. Sorry, don't know about ESB but it's usually a few pence more than the Pride isn't it?
  20. Another strong recommendation for Lee Garvey. Lee replied within an hour to my afternoon text requesting help and offered to come round the next morning. He then identified the problem, sourced and obtained the required replacement part and came and fitted it on Saturday morning. He was efficient, tidy, very reasonably priced and easy to communicate with via text and phone. I will definitely be using him in the future.

So the team finishing second will always be at home and the team finishing fifth (Dulwich last year) will always be away.
  22. M&Co is a clothes/homeware chain. The company used to trade as Mackays and has several hundred branches across the UK.
  23. Kanella is Greek for cinnamon... fwiw

Just turn up on the day and come in through the turnstiles. Or, if do you want to buy tickets in advance, you can do so here: http://www.seetickets.com/tour/dulwich-hamlet-football-club with no booking fee payable.
