  1. Thanks for trying LB, but it was my prediction that it is just one couple.... Oh gawd! There's only 4 days left! ;-)
  2. No it was this year but they had already fallen in love, so they don't count. Unless there's been another romance I'm not aware of, I can only presume it's errr... You and Me babe.

  9. I'll have another go at posting the link - its worth it. I expect I did something wrong, not being very competent in this tech stuff..!
  10. Are you having problems reading it Sue? If so it's down to my own technical ineptitude. The link is just to YouTube - no virus attached.

And thank you for making me make the effort to look up the meaning of your word! If you are a lover of long ones, a favourite of mine is tintinabulary. Ding dong!

  19. Where's the new veggie place? Count me and LB in please.
  20. Very funny MrT! Incidentally I once heard a male gigolo explain that in order to 'perform' with his lady clients of all ages and physical appearance, he would always find at least one attractive thing upon which to focus.... nice eyes, nice hair, the shape of her thigh and so on. It goes to show that there is beauty in everyone if you are prepared to look. So, physical attraction is important in a relationship, but problems can arise if the other person doesn't look hard enough to see it.
  21. Yes a very nice evening with good food. I particularly enjoyed my dish, embued with the exotic flavours of the bark of the Wakaka Tree, which only grows in northern Iran.
  22. Cook it how you like - then open a window... ;-)

Fantastic contribution to the debate. Original and witty too!

There are many occasions when this already happens, such as from receiving incorrect details of an incident at the time of call, as is what happened in Cleveland last week. Londoners are lucky that there are relatively fewer occasions of under-resourcing. This will change if there are fewer fire appliances available for calls. Surely this is common sense?
