  10. In my navy days my nickname was 'Brum' (predictably) and also 'Donkey' (I kid you not). It could have been worst - my best pal was nicknamed 'shitbag'. In the fire brigade I was known for a short time as 'TinTin' - that was until my hair fell out.
  11. I am fifty-something and wear one - and I don't give a damn.... It keeps my balding bonce warm and cosy.
  12. Wigan win, Blackpool lose, Blues to scrape a draw, Wolves to lose by 2 clear goals to Blackburn (who are capable). Maybe...just maybe....!

Brilliant poem Shorty. Very impressive - particularly as you clearly sussed that it was all just a harmless April Fool prank!
  15. Yes indeed but that doesn't explain the strange wurring noise. Just curious!
  16. Has anyone else felt the ground vibrate this morning? I'm sure I heard a wurring noise as well. Are they tunneling for the new tube line extension?
  17. Woke this morning to find my road completely blocked by camper vans and old ambulances. WTF!
  18. Helicopter service direct from Dulwich Park (next to cafe) starts today. Why has no one already said this?!

  23. How can it be that in this enlightened age there is only ONE professional footballer IN THE WORLD who is open about his homosexuality? A brave chap playing in the lower leagues of the Swedish league. I love the game, but I'm shocked at how homophobia is still be so prevalent. The game really needs to take a good look at itself.
  24. See! The Royals are wonderful after all.
