As always, Niko responded very quickly to my last call, and the next morning had fixed the problem pipes and my washing machine was working again. Friendly, reliable, efficient, and always follows up to ensure everything works as it should. I strongly recommend his services. 07818 607583

Niko successfully fixed a small but complex leak for us. Clearly highly knowledgable and experienced, he showed real interest in doing the job well with a solid repair. Strongly recommended. 07818 607583.

Roger was very quick to respond, extremely helpful, and offered genuine, useful advice without trying to sell us services or products we didn't need. We would definitely trust Roger to resolve any further problems should they arise, and we would strongly recommend to others. Roger is on 07518 577977.

Also, cul-de-sac closures outside schools are a bad idea. It would turn the road into a drop-off car park with a lot of 3 point turns going on e.g. Greendale outside JAGS, and that?s a much wider road.

I wonder why Southwark have gone for the full closure rather than a school street, as they have for other schools in the borough. That would allow residents? access at all times, whilst cutting out other traffic when the kids are about.

If there is enough through-traffic in the area for that to genuinely be an issue, it definitely shouldn?t be going past a primary school. You will realise then that Upland Road and Dunstans Road run either side of Goodrich School, and will not be affected by this closure. These roads join to the south of the school, and with Underhill Road to the north - I cannot think of a single car journey through the area that would be increased by more than 1 minute as a result of this closure.

How about opening up Dulwich and Sydenham Golf Club? A huge, attractive open space, currently sat empty whilst people struggle to maintain distance in the neighbouring woods and nearby parks. Is maintaining the grass for "the capital's golfing elite" (quote from their website) more important than the public's well-being at these times when open space is in such high demand? Fence off the greens and offer a grant to the club to repair any damage to the course when this is over. An opportunity for the Dulwich Estate to show they really do care about the people living in and around the estate.

https://www.southwark.gov.uk/parking/parking-permits/on-street-permits/visitor-s-parking-permits Visitors permits will set you back ?2.10/week if you buy 10 at a time. Which isn?t much on top of the cost of a cleaner. Carers and other essential visitors normally have permits provided by their company, giving them access to any cpz.

Painter and Decorator, Brad, All-Round Renovation 07980 662 456
tas replied to Bradlington's topic in Reviews
We've used Brad and Michael a couple of times now for interior and exterior decoration, and have been thoroughly impressed with the results. They are polite, hard-working guys who are respectful of your home, with very high standards - the quality of their work is seriously impressive. We wouldn't go anywhere else. -

Distance calculator as the crow flies for schools?
tas replied to Sol's topic in The Family Room Discussion
You can use google maps. Just right click on the school, select measure distance, and click on the point you are interested in.
