Walked into a newsagent in East Dulwich today and a guy followed me in and asked if I wanted any ganja.... I ignored him and he asked me another 2 times before telling him I didn't smoke. Then he decided that I might want some coke and thrust 2 telephone numbers into my hand. Is this standard operating procedure for dealers midday on a wednesday?

Hi, Hoping there are one or two knowledgeable squashers on the forum. I'm looking at getting a new squash racket - my 10 year old racket is still OK but.... upgrade is due as have just started playing again the last few months. I've seen many decent offers on ebay and amazon and other places. Are Browning rackets any good? Why are they all several hundred pounds all reduced to ?40 ish?

new Shop on Melbourne Grove (Duplicate thread)
benjaminty replied to nico1's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Nice move Nico1... i feared for Petals as soon as it opened. OK concept but was never going to draw the crowds. To give all an idea of what your looking to do ... any idea of the labels you will be carrying? -
I think maybe that shows that I don't feel strongly enough about it and I have no reason to do it. I like the idea but no burning desire.. and I'm qute happy with that. I'll stay naked.

I decided at 16 I wanted a tattoo. low and behold aged 36 and still can't decide what I want! Mrs B has a few and the last took many hours and takes up about half of her back. All hers represent and have meaning. Surely the point to tattoos is that we are not given the choice as to how our body looks... yes we can exercise and eat correctly (or chose not to) But my nose really isn't going to get any smaller. So why not make a mark that I have chosen and I like? That doesn't mean to say anyone makes the right choice... most don't admittedly. I have a friend who nearly has a complete body suit now. It's taken her years and openly admits that she couldn't ever stop to think why she has done it..... she'd probably lose it... obligatory flesh tunnels to boot. Probably one of the best around. http://www.into-you.co.uk/ or http://www.thefamilybusinesstattoo.com/

hmmmm ?700k for a house in Crystal Palace Road.... I guess you are relient on being in at least the right ball park without the help of an estate agent -
It could be the gel? I know where you are coning from though. Amazing how some people forget they are in a service industry. Think same could be said on occasion with Jacks (sorry has someone mentioned that).... on the whole "OK" but is that really good enough?

their shuffle needs to be set so it does not auto synch and that needs to be done through their itunes when it's hooked up. Then attach to your itunes and you can select exactly what you want.

I did start to get quite into the Tour since my company CSC had a team. I actually met the team when they had a little pootle down to our headquarters a few days before the start from London. Since we ended our involvement this year I fear my interest is waining.... Now I don't know to to root for. Perhaps Sastre?

Based on some of my recent performances the mumbo jumbo may be the way to go but yes Keef in all honesty I'm quite happy with my bowzin' lifestyle ... not sure the word style belongs there but there we go. I've looked up a great deal on the tinterweb but personal experiences of people can be useful (hence this thread). So I now have a long list of pills I want to sample and I just need my quack to give me the thumbs up. Thank you all. I WANT MARMITE!

blinkin'eck like take it forever .... that is quite an undertaking. but guess i need to weigh that up with how many attacks i get if i go with another option.

Ideas for re-fit of Mon Petit Chou
benjaminty replied to dungdag's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I like the food there and mostly get brekkers take outs when a little hungover. My main gripe on the place when I eat in is that the food is pretty good but then half the plate has a few tomatoes and some shoddy looking salad with a load of salad cream thrown on it. Completely devalues the food next to it..... if they are to revamp please please get more imaginitive for accompaniments. Anyway - It needs to feel warmer for sure. Wooden floors and well lit. The ceiling is grim at the moment. I do love booths... now the Mag is no longer (don't anyone dare mention the "Mag") then I head to the Montpelier in hope of a comfortable booth. Might not be the best use of space though. -

Yep all of us ... the whole damn lot of us used to live in Clapham! What a strange comment. A long established business? An established business that was built without approval on a public thoroughfare I think you'll find. One that has continually taking the p1ss out of it's neighbouring businesses and residents, one that has cost the council a 5 figure sum in party wall surveying and won't repay, one that doesnt have permission to build the monstrosity of a garage that it currently has in either an upwards or sideways direction... one that doesn't have a roof! One that regularly services high powered boats (great noise on a sunday morning), regularly services cars on the road in direct contravention of it's "lease", one that seemingly never gets a parking ticket for any of it's vehicles on yellow lines for weeks on end, one that seemingly has a "hold" over the council, one that publicly allows beatings of members of their own family for being so silly as to get run over(that was a good one), one that doesnt want to use it's own bins and makes use of any skips/bins they can find for their commercial waste, one that uses it's toilet to put sawdust and car oil down thus creating a back log of "sewage" running up Whateley Road (hmmmmm smell that!) Sorry am I boring you? Or are you boring me with some random Clapham jibe which isnt applicable to anyone I know on Whateley Road?
