  2. Now I've looked at these links somehow annoying banners on the side of all sorts of websites are full up of men in bloody longjohns! No one has asked question yet but it's only a matter of time!
  3. They can do all the extras they want! Major flood from loft conversion down to basement = very expensive Household and Contents claim. The cost of my excesses have not as yet impacted my eating habits thank god. I reckon I have around 8 more visits before I leave but I may up frequency towards to end. I guess it's like going on a drug binge before going into rehab.... only I may actually be eating cold turkey when I get home.
  4. Hi Charliex2 They have started to do evenings ... Def Saturday nights and its chocker... I will check over next few days next time I have double tacos for breakfast and report back as to exactly which other nights they are open.

  7. the courts were their main source of income and hence the late opening and early closing times focussing on lunches .... but now they have moved you get a broader cross sectionof clientele ... it's a v decent alernative to Borough market when you can't feel your hands on Thursday / Friday lunchtime. Yes I'd say it's pretty child friendly
  8. binty? ouch you won't regret :)
  9. Hi All, Just want to spread the word about this place. Whilst I love Wahaca (not the queues) and Chalangos is OK if desparate, I've found something a little more authentic without being an old school stodgefest! I discovered this place in November when forced to move to a flat in Borough temporarily whilst my house is being rebuilt. My house will be ready next month but I'm not sure I can live so far from this place. El Vergel started off as a tiny mexican cafe in a side street in Borough below my flat and have recently moved to a larger premises on Southwark Bridge Road. Opening times are a little odd but they are now open Saturday nights. They do a mean mexican breakfast of refried beans, spicy piquante scrambled eggs, fried chorizo and village bread and plenty of specials... check the website for the full menu. http://www.elvergel.co.uk/ Enjoy!
  10. I can buy into the ideas behind the campaign for free I think you will find! Not that I do ... but that is free if I chose to. By the way I have just sung into my phone and recorded it - was just a little ditty I made up on the spot and no one heard me. Let's make it a straight swap? I bet mine is better than yours. Actually sod this ..... I KNOW mine is better than yours! Keep ya chuffing Whalenoise v Lady Sov mashup.
  11. iTunes give a 25 second snapshot of every track before you buy! Film producers release trailers! These are not quite in your price bracket yet they give a guarantee that at least "some" content exists. I have the million to spend no problem whatsoever - but I'm afraid I won't like the track.... so what are you going to do about it?
  12. If Mike Skinner and his sidekick Beat Stevie (Ted) can do this with a tractor and a bit of software with GPS then surely anyone can? Not quite as accurate granted but then the pattern is very irregular compared to most... http://www.skinnermike.com/blog/2009/08/beat-stevie-casting-down-your-pod-e03so1.html
  13. Thanks all.... having spoken to others they seem to think for price and reliability go for an Acer so lets see what crops up on hotdeals!
  14. One of the family has decided that their partner needs a laptop for Xmas and doesnt know what to buy them. I work for an IT firm but we all use Thinkpads and that's it... and all the geeks seem to build their own PCs at home. Anyone have a recommendation for a cheap laptop that wont see the most use probably Forum use, Facebook and music... unlikley much if any gaming. Also will prices drop after Xmas and therefore a card with an IOUAPC be more appropriate for Xmas day? Windows 7 seems to stable enough to bother with from what I have read. Anyone feel otherwise?

  20. Sorry for such a dull post but I can't get hold of any XL whizzkids in my company at the moment. Anyone know how to merge 2 XL documents of data? Where there are duplicate entries based on unique identifier field the most recent entry needs to overwrite the older.
  21. So was it where you were standing? How you were dressed? White reeboks per chance? Or do you have the shifty look?
  22. no I was driving..... didn't want those big eyes... and what would happen if the wind changed?
  23. SteveT Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > benjaminty wrote:- Is this standard operating > procedure for dealers midday on a wednesday? > > > > Only to hippies usually benjaminty perhaps you > should cut the old barnet and stop wearing > psychedelic clobber:) I did think long and hard about my appearance.... not sure black cap, nike and some stiff denim numbers make me a gearhead.... but what does one look like nowadays? Rather than a business card he had written out his name and numbers on some lined paper a ripped up ready to hand out. Good use of playground time and homework books for sure! Couldn't tell if we was prang at the time.... but you don't ask you don't get I suppose.
  24. Now that would make sense now wouldn't it but no.... I was using the photocopier. Gave the numbers back...
