A huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to reply or to send me a pm. It doesn't sound so bad at all - in fact, some of it sounds positively great! So I shall probably give it a go - since I don't think I will ever convince my other half to have the snip!

So I have decided that family complete this is the contraceptive route I want to go down. And then I switch on woman's hour and I hear just how very painful the procedure is and how a local anaesthetic is now recommended? Any one care to share their experience - on here or by pm. And has anyone had it done with an anaesthetic and if so, where? Many thanks in advance.

A housemate had a chinchilla once. It was adorable - it used to tilt its head to one side and put its front paws together when I played Barbra Streisand. I felt I had a fellow fan in the house.

If you google 'Balloon seller performance' an old advert from September pops up on Ideastap, a forum for artists, looking for just such a thing. It's an expired ad so you can't read all the info, but it appears to be connected to the Hayward Gallery. Lacking context, and in the middle of the street, I agree this serves no purpose whatsoever. -
After a brilliant experience with no.1 at Kings, I am now in my first trimester and about to move to Penge, and am wondering which hospital I should ask to be referred to? Hoping someone on the forum might be able to share their experiences of Lewisham, Bromley, or Croydon.
