  4. my hubby is also missing his Xmas Private Eye... and other cards/presents that have been sent to me,, gutted! Thankyou to James and Helen for picking this up... Royal Mail must sort this out.
  5. not sure where you live, but there is a walk in at the PCR centre just next to Belair Park, up from Dulwich Picture Gallery, but you get your results around 24hrs later
  6. why did that lovely colourful mosaic get covered up? probably some strange safety reason..but it looked lovely and shouldn't have been covered up by some bland wood
  7. due to a complete mess up on my behalf, i sadly can't use these 2 tickets. Tues 6 July at 7pm in Chiswick Park (connects from Clapham station) Hate them to go to waste.. it's such a good show as have been before! please PM if you can go. Serious enquiries only please, first come first served. Attached the pic of them. Selling for face value i.e ?50 for both, or near to.
  8. there is a fab fruit n' veg stall on Northcross Rd every Saturday, Keeley is the owner and her produce is fantastic
  9. Lou, i've signed the petition. i too have a shed where i paint and make glass, so know how important it is, and from what i've read , this all seems grossly unfair. i wish you good luck and hope it turns out ok for you, as you obviously are so passionate about this and the health benefits it gives you, surely this is the most important thing, esp at this horrible time we are in
  10. i heard on BBC radio london, that apparently you can offer your christmas trees to local city farms,( for a small donation for pickup) if they have goats, as they love eating them!! much better than just discarding on the street .. i nearly tripped over one that was sprawled across the pavement yesterday..abandoned xmas trees always look so sad
  11. Agreed... have also decided to donate rather than clap. Maybe we could start a campaign to get the Government to raise their pay substantially...
  12. loving Melbourne Grove..so uplifting! it's great to see so much light out there...really heartwarming,, and quite emotional too ...
  13. HSBC visa card found around a half hour ago. begins Miss M J..... let me know if you have lost this
  14. ive always found WR helpful, and polite...despite being rushed off their feet esp at this time of year... p.s buy your eggs from lovely Eva on the northcross rd market,,they are the best and best value for sure!
  15. that is a brilliant idea!!
