  1. Nice one on looking after her. Have you tried looking/posting on Twitter? You could link a photo there too.
  2. If he's not planning on coming home during the stretch, make sure he brings enough condoms for the period, and then some extra to make sure. Also, deodorant as the local stuff is not good, and to plan ahead by looking at sites like Alibaba etc to make sure he can get domestic products / medical stuff imported easily, rather than having to pay shipping from the UK to China. Also if he hasn't already figured things out, maybe look into a paying for a no-logs VPN and considering which social/news sites he'll be blocked from using without one under the fascist regime over there. A decent book on current laws/regulations would be handy to get a working knowledge as China is not known for being light on foreign citizens. Edit: Oh and there's a fair few ex/current Chinese residents who post on f*ckedgaijin.com he'll have to tread lightly when asking as its a rather niche forum with a tight user base.
  3. I see you can count to potato. Impressive!
  4. Shouldn't that be here "wee" go again? Looked like Lucozade or similar sports drink left behind to me.
  5. Iceland before it closes for good. Get your edge on.

Is this some kind of meta re-enactment of conversations between The Lothario and female seeking organic wine?
  7. Here's Bluebell in motion (if .gifs work here that is).
  8. Peckham Library has free wi-fi, albeit sluggish. You have to get there early or be rather lucky to find a table (especially the much coveted window places) but I find that a very pleasant space to write in. And of course, they have a fabulous range of books you can pick up at the same time.
  9. An Alabama hot pocket would suit an internet keyboard warrior like you just fine.

Had some gristle stuck in your teeth by the end by the sound of it.

One might surmise the occasional "spit roast" may be their treat of choice.
  13. Your posts over your time here give rise to the notion a c@%t badge should be branded on your head.
  14. Finchley Central was heated circa 2002, the waiting rooms were a no-go area due to being packed with tramps as soon as the station opened. I used to see Charlie Brooker during his PC Zone phase around there in the late 90s. Back to coffee though, our North American cousins have far outpaced us in this battlefield as evidenced in the latter images of this rather nice piece: http://ihateworkinginretail.ooid.com/24-times-starbucks-was-too-much-to-handle/
  15. I support this call to ban all members of the ruling political party. Arise, Monster Raving Loonies, your time is now!

"Sticking one up" may result in the need for an appointment at EDMC to remove it, and we all know what a headache that is. Think of the children!

"Onna" other end of the spectrum (speculum?) perhaps one of these is occupying Louisa's other half? http://onahole.blogspot.com/
  18. The "Internet hate machine" is a bit bored lately, and Sesame St has been popular enough with anons and trips alike to make its (actually not recent at all) affinity with the show hit the usual meta-news sites http://www.dailydot.com/lol/4chan-explores-darker-side-of-sesame-street/ I rather enjoy shows made by Granada found on creaky ftp dumps fun of late along with the arcade games of Williams and Midway.
  19. Whenever I get on an (inevitably packed) 484 and an inconsiderate dickhead or trio of them enter then proceed to slurp on Chickenshop fodder or Saltfish I wish the Peckham Terminator would warp in and, well, terminate the vermin.
  20. The Lounge lives up to its reputation as a more sedate passive/aggressive alternate dimension version of /r9k/ yet again. Could Louisa be the final (aborted RAGEQUIT)form of Popcorn Mariachi?
  21. Hi Aron, sorry am not in a position to invest, want to take up skating myself to lose some weight but too broke to atm. I really wish you well with this and it takes off. Its great to see skating popular amongst today's youth and have also noted the increased numbers of skaters around ED/Peckham. Have you tried getting an article in that Peckham newspaper or put up a page sites like Urban75 etc could cover?
  22. Thanks for the field report, baboonfish. Walking past some of the bars/cafes and seeing a whitewash of braying trustafarians I've found myself shaking my head at how Totally Mexico Peckham is becoming - at least it has a few record shops again now I suppose. There used to be an arcade next to The Hope which closed not so long ago, but in its later years all the games got replaced by fruit machines. Am tempted by the 4 Quarters mainly due to them having pinball tables, kinda hoping they get a Bride of Pinbot or Black Knight 2000 table in, wouldn't be able to resist that. There's a grassroots arcade in Acton, but that's way too far for me to be arsed with.
  23. Sorry, I haven't seen your cat, but will look out for her. Have met her many times, she's such a lovely affectionate soul! Fingers crossed she comes back very soon.
  24. What are the client?le in the 4 quarters like? Have avoided it so far as I simply assumed them to be insufferable. Oh, and one of our regulars at the old Wonderpark ended up being one of the worlds most awarded fighting games players, Ryan Hart who was the humblest, nicest players I met during my time in the games biz. How about a custom emulation deck with this colour scheme for the b'day present? One of those Corsair cubes would make an ideal (albeit oversized) shape for it http://minusworld.co.uk/2015/05/14/famicube/
