  1. I took the P13, my favorite bus yesterday and it went on diversion around Peckham as the road going past Morrisons is still being repaired so the route is suffering from delays because of this, not sure about around the Kingsdale area I'm afraid though.
  2. Cheers! Love the P13 : )

    DulwichFox

I always assumed Louisa and Foxy were one and the same user.
  4. In all the M&S I've ever shopped in, the staff have been uniformly po-faced and rude. I know someone who used to work at a branch and they are universally poorly treated according to them, which rather explains why. The staff at ED Iceland made it a pleasure to shop there.
  5. Had a power cut same kind of time in Crawthew Grove, was just about to hit send on a job application when it happened. Thankfully I had the text in OneNote so didn't lose it.
  6. I doubt the staff will be anywhere nearly as friendly. Iceland was a great place to pick up stuff like ahem, ice, bleach, toilet paper way cheaper than anywhere else locally and the staff would actually check the stockroom for stuff not on the shelves, unlike every other supermarket around here. Personally, I'll miss it, much better than Bejams ever was and the freezers/fridges didn't regularly fail (leading to food-borne illness occuring) like the ones in International/Somerfield/Co Op.
  7. Perhaps OP should don swords and do battle ?
  8. Adobe's Creative Suite is fantastic but costs a bit. You could use the video option in Picasa, which is free, but it takes a bit of wrangling and induced a headache or two when I used it a while back.
  9. I bet that really friendly bloke with a heavily customised (and incredibly cool) red campervan sometimes seen around Goose Green would be interested.
  10. I needed some help with cutting something down in our garden and KidKruger very kindly popped down and lent me some tools and gave some much needed advice. Really helped me out, was nice to meet such a top bloke. Also one of our neighbours looked after the bigger of our two rescue cats when she didn't feel like coming home pretty regularly for about 6 weeks which was incredibly nice of them and I'll never forget that.
  11. Thank you for being so kind and giving the cat shelter and protection.
  12. That James Bond shoot perhaps?
  13. Please contact Celia Hammond who will give them the best shot at a happy life the EDF is a crummy place to put the fate of nature's finest in.
  14. Have you seen this? no hassles with clearing up fudge dragons! http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?9,1529265
  15. Celia Hammond are where our lovely sisters came from, they love each others company and I think it's great how the charity focus on rehousing pairs. Cats are so much happier living with a sibling, from eXperience. Always best to give a home to rescue cats than from people who may well be breeding for profit imho.
  16. Have you tried calling Camberwell bus garage?
  17. Did VVVVV or Cave Story make it to the ps3 store? Loved those on PC or DeathSmiles / Mushihimesama if you like Shmups. Twitter is a great place to get suggestions or try looking on /v/ if you have thick skin.
  18. Pong was my first love. Lemmings was one of the more memorable games, here is a nice piece on it: http://readonlymemory.vg/the-making-of-lemmings/
  19. We'll keep an eye/ear out for her, what a pretty cat! Hope she comes home soon.

    Old TV shows

I'd love a DiXon of Dock Green boX (faulty X key) set. Especially of interest to fans of Life on Mars, considering the parallels between franchises...
  21. Cheers VixSta all sorted and came back with a fresh batch.
  22. Ah thanks for that, running a bit late and have a book [the fab Ready Player One] that somebody has reserved.
  23. Is it ok to return books from Peckham Library to Dulwich Library does anyone know? Their phoneline is closed right now so I can't ask them.
  24. The Internets [sic].
  25. Very sorry to hear of Keith's passing he was a fine man. I had my first ever pint in The Palmeston around '86 and of all the ED pubs it was always my favourite, and only 2 mins away from home to boot. We used to drink heavily all around the area, only pub we avoided was The Foresters as it was a place only regulars were welcome at, and a good majority of those regulars looked like pretty mental geezers.
