Maybe if they gated off this area and had big signs on each gate, it would make this area a more secure area for the ducks and wildlife in that area. They have sectioned other areas of the park like rose garden, playground, and gated stream area where the huts used to be. They are also in the process of redesigning the seated area near the duck pond. At the moment it's just a walk through, maybe a redesign might make dog walkers stop and think before opening the gate with their dogs.

Pret A Manger coming to East Dulwich! (Now open)
precious star replied to KateFord's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I have always liked pret a manger. It's been ethical and forward thinking way before many other food places. I always saw their vans at night at Westend donating their unsold food to homeless and other charities, unlike other supermarkets and shops. -
Yes, i too was turned away, even though it had said on southwark nhs websit walk-in was from 9am last wednesday. I got there at 9am and me and about 12 others turned away as they said they will run out of vaccine and only seeing the ones with appointments... walk-ins should be just that as some people to even turn up due to anxiety (etc) is a big thing.

Everybody reacts diffrently to things that are put in our bodies, no human is the same. We can all have very diffrent reactions to many diffrent things whether it be: food, make up, environment, medications, animals (etc). Sometimes even medical proffesionals cant give you an answer to why your body may have reacted in a certain way, and sometimes its only the individual who knows their own body, may even have to get a second or third opinion from a medical proffessional before they even get diagnose a correct cause to a sympton. No one should be afraid to ask questions!! Its your body and only you know it well.

Well why dont the shops make it more clear for people, can they put items into a ruck sack, a hand bag, a suitcase, a trolly, or does it have to be a calico bag A very grey area i think ! Along with eating food before you have even payed for it ! Eat half bunch grapes pay half the price when its weighed !... very grey area.

Southwark policy on replacing dead trees in SE22
precious star replied to Reg Smeeton's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Hi robin, i went past peckham rye, and noticed that the lovely big willow tree has been cut down and the smaller one has been left. It used to look so beautiful. Whats happened ? The one near where the old lido swimming pool was. Also the tree destroyed opposite the chemist on lordship lane, outside the new restarant. Will it be replaced.
