  1. So why does the polling card say deadline is 5pm on 8th?
  2. Hello, Anyone know why the deadline is the 8th May, as opposed to the 11 days stated on the form you fill in to register to postal vote? Am I missing something? First time I?ve needed to register to postal vote but thought I had until 12th. Helpfully polling card stating 8th arrived after deadline. I have written to relevant dept at council but genuinely wondering if I?ve missed something obvious.

  4. Thanks Gerry. also a resident but unfortunately with work and two toddlers unable to get to the meeting. Do you happen to know where we can see the plans online?
  5. Our nursery makes a point of offering fruity desserts, crumbles, baked pears etc. Snacks are veg bites, fruit, crackers etc. I think they have the occasional chocolate custard or sponge cake, but they say they only sweeten with fruit. Which is still sugar, but at least has some nutritional value. So I would definitely have no hesitation in asking. You might start a landslide!
  6. Yes, envisaging a pile of unused large brown bins all over! We inherited ours - it was here when we moved in- and can certainly manage our garden waste with the sacks (its only a v small garden!) I'd like to get rid if we were charged But how do you dispose of it?
  7. Yes, happened to us (on Bassanostreet) last June: /forum/read.php?5,1946219
  8. Interesting. I live on Bassano Street and not been informed about this meeting..
  9. Jolie a Pied has a closing down sale on at the moment I think
  10. I used them for a while- maybe a year. The flowers did last well and were very generous bunches- I edited my order to only get them every other week and did find they lasted. I find now we have twins we have neither the time nor money for flowers, but did really enoyed them while we had them : )
  11. I go to Mrs Feelgoods. ?5.
  12. Second writing to Helen Hays- she has asked for info on this issue. Be sure to add your details (address, name)
  13. Save them up and give them back to Ocado (they take all bags). Also think Sainsburys take them
  14. Did anyone go along yesterday? I was keen but got held up at work and then had to collect my kids from nursery. Annoying that the timing of these things is always during work hours and end before toddlers are asleep!
  15. Also missing parcels posted over ten days ago, only one postal delivery this week (which was at 7pm and included our neighbours post!) Please write to Helen Hays with your issues so she has evidence from local residents to use in her discussions with Royal Mail.
  16. I emailed Helen Hayes with concerns about the closure of Sylvester Road, who replied last night. She?s asked we share details of issues with her to support her conversation with Royal Mail about setting up an ED collection if you?ve stood in a long queue or had issues with your post since the move I reckon it?s worth sending her a quick email or tweet. I?m receiving reports of queues, delays & problems with mail deliveries in #SE22 following the Royal Mail delivery office closure - if this is affecting you, please email me with details at Helen.hayes.mp@parliament.uk so I can represent your views to Royal Mail— Helen Hayes (@helenhayes_) September 18, 2018
  17. I would get a redelivery except they stopped delivering in the first place last month..!
  18. Spoke to them today an dlooks like is due to close next month. I recall filling in a an online form but never got a paper survey- we only live a few street away. Anyone know if there?s any fnal way of protesting?!
  19. No post here either! Was literally jus starting a thread..
  20. Is everyone else getting post? We live near the PictureHouse cinema and haven?t had at post in days .Im expecting two packages (which should?ve been here several days ago) and my husband has a regular subscription that normally gets delivered on a Wednesday but nothings arrived so far. I?ve asked Royal Mail but wondering if it?s just us..
  21. With 1-year-old twins (who aren't walking yet) these spaces make a huge difference to me being able to get them in and out of the car safely, without having to leave one in the trolley in the way of cars driving around.
  22. I'm about 20 paces from the Picturehouse. I reckon they have a loo. I know ESPH does. Failing I bet you could get to Kanela in 30 steps, Jade Boulangerie, GBK,House of Tippler.. the list goes on! None are pubilc loos, agreed, but I bet they would've been kind to someone in need... #dontdumpondoorsteps
  23. flocker spotter Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > sorry I am going to assume you're expressing sympathy and not confessing ownership of the turd! In which case, thank you
  24. Only the once so far. hoping it stays that way. Thanks for all the suggestions as to the culprit!!!
