  5. It's been a while since I visited but from memory Dr Doolittle's pet shop in Streatham has a large selection. P13 stops close by. Perhaps give them a call before making the trek to make sure! http://www.drdoolittlespetshop.co.uk/
  6. If this is your name, we've had a (presumably) Christmas card delivered to our address for you. Get in touch if you want to collect.
  7. I've been taking my 7 month old to Aquatots classes and they do classes for children up to 8 years old. The pools they use locally are in Catford and Streatham. http://www.aquatots.com/
  8. This is the website GP practices use but if you visit your practice nurse they'll be able to confirm. http://www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk/destinations/asia-(east)/thailand.aspx

  13. There's a small electrical items recycling bin in the Peckham Rye car park on Straker's Road.
  14. I hired mine from the below. Great service and couldn't have done without it in labour. Good luck! http://www.birthease.co.uk/birthease_shop/Elle-TENs-Machine-Hire.shtml
  15. Have just seen this in the Family Room discussion section if you're open to looking elsewhere: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?25,1673675
  16. We're currently doing the Bump, Birth and Beyond classes with the brilliant and forward thinking Nicky Harris and would recommend it. The classes are midwife run which I don't believe NCT classes are (please correct me if I'm wrong) and social activities are encouraged. http://www.ariadnasole.com/ Another option, and to get a slightly different perspective, is a hypnobirthing course. We did a course with Hollie de Cruz at London Hypnobirthing but one of our sessions was run by Lizzie Hammond of Hammond Hypnobirthing and I would have no hesitation in recommending either of them. You also get to meet other couples on the course. I learnt an awful lot about labour on this course but the disadvantage is that you don't cover the post-natal stuff, hence why we are doing the Bump, Birth and Beyond class as well. http://www.londonhypnobirthing.co.uk/ http://www.hammondhypnobirthing.com/
  17. McDonald's still Fanta.
  18. A friend just told me today about a sling library in Beckenham that she went to and found really helpful. They run advice sessions and you can also hire and buy slings. http://southlondonslings.co.uk/ Whoops, sorry, didn't see newtoedf's earlier post!

  20. Congratulations azurh. If you're at Kings the appointments are detailed in your maternity notes which the midwife will have given to you. If you can't find them let me know and I can send you a list (I'm not near my notes at the moment to be able to do so now).
  21. My first baby too and I'm due 7th April. Congratulations everyone!
